It’s durable, absorbent and can be composted at the end of its usefulness – what’s not to love

These are really fun to “expand” the first time and I was surprised that they look new after going through the washing machine. They are very absorbent instantly and they stood up to scrubbing well.

Wow does this little guy soak up water. It’s got a very cute design that looks great in the kitchen and also cleans soaks up water well. Will be purchasing again in the future when mine wear out.

First time using this type of dishcloth and the first thing I noticed was texture. It feels like a very thick paper towel when wet. I’m a big fan of lather when I clean and if you’re like me you’ll be disappointed that it doesn’t lather very much no matter how much soap you use. I think they’re a pretty neat product. I cut mine in half to “extend” the life and is still durable. I’ve been using this for the same half for a month of everyday washing multiple times a day.

    Good alternative!

    Sunny (verified owner)

I had already used a similar product but this one is far superior. I haven’t used it for too long so don’t know how it will hold. Would recommend due to its end of life (as its compostable), and plan to purchase more!

These are a great alternative to sponges but I have been using a blue reusable cloth that is thinner, so that is what I am comparing them to. They are super absorbent and wipe up nicely. I don’t wash dishes with them but am constantly wiping up spills and counters. I love the fact that they can be composted when done rather than go to the trash. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is because after a week of use, they began to get that funky smell and even after being thrown in the wash, they weren’t the best smelling.

Hi there! We are so happy to hear you are finding the Swedish dishcloths useful and loving them! They are machine washable (bonus!) but sometimes need some extra love to keep them fresh. Some tips we’ve found helpful are rinsing with vinegar before adding to the wash and rinsing with water and always hanging to dry in between uses!

    Better than paper towel!

    pbaclaws (verified owner)

These really are the bomb.com, they are incredibly absorbent and can be used in place of paper towels. They also don’t stain (I have cleaned up black mold, tomato sauce, etc with these), especially if you wash them in the laundry.

I bought these a few months ago to test as an alternative to synthetic dish sponges, and they work great! They can also be used as paper towels, cleaning cloths, etc!

I’m sensitive to textures and wasn’t sure if I would like this. I love it! It’s much more absorbent and durable than a cotton cloth.

when I first seen and felt them I wasn’t sure but once I got it wet I loved it. Cleans well and picks up quite a bit of liquid. Very happy with this purchase.

    Perfect alternative to paper towels!

    mlpielmeier (verified owner)

If you’re looking for a strong alternative to paper towels or a counter-top sponge, this is it! It’s tough, adorable, and does the trick. I’ve used one of these for up to 6 months and kept them useable by tossing them in the dishwasher when they get particularly nasty. This 2-pack deal is also a great price!
