I love the bumps on this swab; they really help remove excess wax and buildup. It is not absorbent, which I do not care too much about, but I know for others, that’s something that they look for in a swab. I love this and use it every single day!

Ive been using this product for about a month now and I love it. I love the feeling of it though it was a LITTLE strange at first. It isn’t absorbent but I would just use a tissue to get water out of my ear anyway. Works great, just as good if not better that traditional ear swabs. Super easy to clean and the case is perfect for storing.

I love the idea and design but I struggle with it because it’s not absorbent. I plan to keep using it and I’m sure I will be used to it in time .

This is in my opinion is best product that LastObject offers. I have enjoyed it and it is the only thing I have purchased from them that seems to have the best quality. I enjoy the use of them bc they get wax out of my ears lol and I don’t use them for getting water out of my ears. I am interested in trying other similar brands like Naked Swab where the stick part is made of bamboo.

I was addicted to cotton swabs to get that dry feeling after a shower. I weened myself off of them, but then experienced ear wax build up. This solved that problem. I was not expected it to be so hard though. I thought the material would yield and be flexible, but I perceive it to be hard and rigid when used on the ear. I got used to it though. The only thing I can’t really abide is looking at the case that came with it languishing in my drawer. I wish they did not include this substantial of a case is essentially trash for me. I would have preferred a much more minimal case.

This (classic swab) worked well – perhaps even better than cotton alternatives – but after about a month or so of use small cracks/rips began forming at the swab ends. Although the rips are small it raises concerns for being able to keep disinfected. Perhaps this is a one-off problem of some kind of defect in manufacturing; would purchase again if that turned out to the be the case.

A lot of reviews mention still using cotton swabs when they get out of the shower, but that it’s still a great product. What are you using it for if not to absorb the water?

Hi there! While the swab itself is not absorbent, we do love using it to clean any stray earwax from the outer ear canal! A tip that some sage LastSwab-ers enjoy is wrapping a small bit of tissue/toilet paper on the swab to make it more absorbent for post-shower use.

Last swab is not absorbent, so if you use q-tips to dry off your ear after you take a shower, last swab won’t help. I have notoriously gunky ears and I didn’t find it great for helping stop the itch either. I’m hoping this product just takes some getting used to. Super easy to clean and conceptually I love it.

Let me just say that I love how quickly Earth Hero jumped on this. I saw an ad for this, and the next week when I was going to purchase it on their website, it’s already part of Earth Hero’s new arrivals! I bought the peach, it’s more orange than the picture, but that’s okay. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this works pretty well. I clean my outer ear with a soft cotton towel after a shower, so I wasn’t looking for something to dry my inner ear. It works and it’s easy to clean. I would even go as far as to say it’s better than traditional cotton swabs. I will probably purchase a back up for myself and some for family members. I’m glad they added more colors. I definitely recommend giving it a try!

Works great! Just be gentle and don’t use to much pressure on it. It’s not unbreakable. And keep it away from cats! Hahaha

As some others mentioned, I usually use cotton swabs when I get out of the shower, and this does not absorb the water as well as traditional cotton swabs, but I am getting used to it, and was really excited about this product. Overall, I still think it is great product, and as with many sustainable swaps, it just takes a bit of getting used to.

Love this! I’ve never much liked cotton swabs anyways, because I feel like they just push things around. These really grab!

I agree with another reviewer that I mostly use traditional cotton swabs after I shower, and this doesn’t give that “squeaky clean AND DRY” feeling that I get from cotton swabs, but it does a decent job of removing the wax. I personally want it to be a bit bigger around and maybe a bit softer, but I can be picky about these things! Overall I would recommend and I’m happy to use this most of the time to transition away from disposable.

Overall, I’m pleased with this purchase; the swab feels sturdy and is easy to clean. That said, I use swabs most consistently after climbing out of the shower – unlike cotton swabs, this does not absorb residual water in my ears, so I may not be able to give up cotton swabs entirely, but it will definitely reduce my use.
I’m also eager to invest in the makeup version of the Last Swab – that’s where my biggest use of cotton swabs comes from, so I think that will definitely help reduce my use as well!

It is pretty sturdy, yet also moveable which makes cleaning a lot easier. I feel like this is safer than an ordinary cotton swab because the bumpy rubber part picks up the wax instead of pushing it around.

So I have a cotton swab addiction, and I felt really bad about it because it was so wasteful. I couldn’t believe how well these worked and how easy they were to clean. I hope they last for years. I thought the case was a little over the top, but then I realized I would totally lose it without the case. A really revolutionary product.

I used tons of cotton swabs drying out my ear canals and I was worried that the plastic wouldn’t be absorbent, but I was wrong! The little nubbly bits collect water as well as wax!

Saves me a ton of earbuds because I have a ton of earwax. The stick could be a little stronger, but overall love the product!

A good alternative to cotton swabs. It’s a little more flimsy than I expected, very similar to an actual cotton swab (except for the rubber bumpy part). But hopefully it will last a long time!

At first I thought I wasn’t getting results using this but when I wiped it off on a square of toilet paper I realized it was cleaning my outer ear canal really well. It also feels great, like a massage. I have also used it in the shower with soapy water for my ears and that worked even better.
