I was curious about these cotton buds on a stick so I gave them a try. They work great for me so far. I dip the buds in alcohol to help dry out the water that gets trapped in my ears after showering per my ENT recommendation. Grew up with numerous ear infections because of the canal shape inside my ears. No I do not stick them in far at all. Just enough to let the alcohol help dry them some. Haven't had an ear infection since I was 22 and I'm 51 now. I tried them out for makeup application, put ointment on a cut, cleaned little tight crevices of my Keurig, and many other tasks I was able to use them for. Really like that these don't leave lint or little balls of cotton behind like the Q-tips do. That's always been a big problem for me with those. Another thing I noticed is that the Bamboo Buds don't give way to bending when wet. When I'm done with the Bamboo Buds I toss them into my Bamboozle kitchen compost pail. These travel so much better than the other too. The kraft paper container is super sturdy and when the buds are all gone I can reuse the container to store something in it, make a craft with it, wrap a small gift in it, recycle it, compost it, or put some dirt in it, a seed, and start growing a flower or something. Got them on subscription so I can get them at a nice discount whenever I need them.
They look and feel like the real thing... except they're eco-friendly!

These cotton buds are less fluffy than normal store bought ones but they hold up well and I feel better about not using ones that have plastic in them.
These were good. They felt sturdy.
Work great. Can snap if too much pressure is applied and a bit stiff. But overall a good sustainable alternative

We loved these cotton buds! The size and shape of the cotton is perfect, and the bamboo is strong whereas we've had other brands break easily. There are still a small amount that break, but it's not from gentle use. Also, the amount sent for the price is also more than competitors! Will order again!
they get the job done for the most part but the stick isn't sturdy/bendy enough and often breaks in half way more than a typical cotton swab

I tried a reusable ear cleaner and it just wasn't for me. I've used regular cotton swabs and they are fragile while also not being a good option. I've been using these bamboo cotton buds for a few years now and really love them! Great quality, great eco- friendly alternative and the subscription makes it so easy to stay stocked up!
