I have tried a couple of other reusable alternatives to paper towels (namely dish towels and Swedish dish cloths), and neither of them has worked for us enough to help kick the paper towel habit. These are a super swap because they are thin, absorbent, and sized close to a paper towel. I have a lot of uses for kitchen towels like drying off produce, wiping a damp counter, etc. But they haven't been able to replace paper towels for spills and messes the way these reusable paper towels can.
These towels are great material, however they are not as absorbent as hoped and don't do a great job picking up spills. However, they work well to wipe after spraying cleaner down.
I bought and have been using the white towels. I keep them close by and use them as napkins as well as for cleaning up spills. It makes me feel better to not see paper being added to my trash can. They wash up nicely. I haven't started using the gray ones yet, so I can't really say how they wash.
The colors are so nice and vibrant and the towels themselves are very soft. I’m excited to buy fewer paper goods now!
These are much more absorbent than paper towel and are easy to just throw in the wash with my other towels.
