- Only at first, your yoga mat may have a mild rubber smell. After around 3-5 practices the smell will go away. You can lay the mat flat in a shaded area to air out after unpacking.

Product Care
- Cork is anti-microbial, so there is no need to worry about germs, mold, or mildew forming and no need to clean regularly (the cork sanitizes itself naturally!). After practice, lay the mat flat to air dry. If there is dirt or body oils, wipe the mat down with a soft cloth and warm water. Every once in a while, wiping the mat with a mixture of mild soap and water discourages stains from settling.
- DO NOT put your Scoria yoga mat in the washing machine
End of Life
- Reuse or repurpose if possible. Although the cork is biodegradable, Scoria products are still tightly bound with water-based eco-adhesives at a high temperature to give strength and stability, and therefore wouldn't be suitable to break down in a home compost.

I moved my workout from 6am to 6pm just because I was waiting for it to be delivered later on today, I couldn’t wait to test it out.
I did much research trying to find the perfect yoga mat that is non toxic and this is it!
You can feel and see the quality materials and natural dyes used for the design. I was looking for a mat that didn’t use toxic adhesives to keep it together so I love that about this product.
It’s not light but I personally expected the weight hence the materials.
The grip was perfect, I can focus on my workout not how much I’m slipping from being sweaty.
Yes if there is no heat or moisture it can feel like there is no grip but that changes quickly as you workout.
It smells a bit of rubber but it’s not intense to where it affects your ability to be on the mat, plus I’m hoping it goes away.
I’m super happy with my purchase, I recommend it if you’re still thinking of going elsewhere.
I love this mat. Thinness makes it light but also makes it perfect for balance poses - deeply grounded. Cork is great and grippy (even for my 250lbs.) but also no stink, no grim. Just a damp cloth after practice and time to lay flat and dry and it’s ready to go.
After 12 days this item still hasn’t arrived. Extremely disappointed!

I was looking for a nontoxic yoga mat, which is not easy. I found this one and was not sure how comfortable cork would be. It’s smooth and soft but I don’t have trouble with my feet slipping. I love this mat and the butterfly design is so pretty. So worth the money.

This yoga mat has no funky smell or chemicals. Printed beautifully. Seems much stronger than my other cork mat.
This is exactly as expected. Good weight & cushioning.
Perfect thickness (as my previous mat was too thick) & I enjoy the feel and grip of the cork upper layer. I get sweaty easily so slipping hands is an issue, but the cork reacts well to heat & a bit of moisture for a sturdy non-slip grip.
Due to the material it is heavier than I’m used to, but no complaints here!
I love the sustainability and it feels great to practice on. But! It's very heavy, and worse, when I practice shirtless android I'm on my back, it makes an embarrassing farting sound when I moved around :sweat_smile:
This is a beautiful yoga mat! Better than I expected. Has a very natural feel and free of any strong smell that most mats have. Just spray with a little water and it has great traction. Love it!

This is such a beautiful mat and it brings me so much joy. It’s the best grip on a mat I’ve ever had. It does squeak a little when repositioning your feet sometimes, but that might be user error. Overall, amazing mat.
I’m trying my best not to use plastics and came across this truly eco-friendly yoga mat! It’s made from simply two materials: cork and natural rubber. Thick enough to protect my knee and joints. Comfortable. It’s just perfect!

Not only is it beautiful, this may really is grippy. I do hot yoga & a couple of hot classes 4-5x a week and this mat has good grip! I sweat a lot & not one slip!
It also has just the right amount of cushion. It’s not too thin & not too cushy at 4.5mm. And it is a gorgeous mat. The design & colors are so pretty & I love the alignment lines!
Really lovely mat. I'm happy to have it after hitting my last straw of smelling my stinky plastic mat one too many times... Still off gasing. This one smells of it's natural materials, which I hope are better for me and the planet. It's been lovely to use. My cat came over right away to sit on it with me while I experimented the first time. We both approve and are happy with the purchase.
A beautiful waste of ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS! It is a cute mat, but that is it. It is slippery and the weird smell never went away. It felt hard instead of padded. Hate that I wasted $100 on this.
Hi Sam, we are sorry to hear that you are not enjoying this mat as much as you had hoped. If the mat isn't as 'grippy' as you need, we recommend spritzing the mat with a light mist of water until your body warms up, as it'll naturally offer a better grip when your body warms up and sweats. As for the scent, we've found that after about 3-5 practices the rubber scent will fade. However, if you find it is still strong for your liking, we also recommend laying the mat flat in a shaded area outdoors to air out! This mat works really well! I didn't give it five stars is because it does stain easily and it is hard to get them out. Other than that, I would recommend!

The feel of this mat is just the right blend of comfortable and supportive, and it is very steady -- doesn't move around or slip at all! I'd absolutely recommend it! A faint rubbery smell when first opened, but it fades soon enough!
Not really traveling very much right now with this mat but it has been excellent for my home practice. It is thin but I personally prefer that and for anything where I want more cushion I just add on a yoga blanket.
This yoga mat makes me happy every time i unroll it! It's a great thickness and the cork feels really nice. The only thing to be aware of is the mat works best when you're sweaty, so sometimes i spray my hands with a little water before i start to avoid any slippage.
I love this mat. It's heavyweight, which may not be ideal when carrying long distances, but it sticks to the ground like no other mat I've ever been on. The moon design is aesthetically pleasing and calm-inducing. My only complaint is that the mat must be moist, otherwise my hands and feet slip a lot. Since I'm not doing hot yoga right now, it's a little annoying to have to spray it with water to get my practice started. However, once I do spray it the grip is amazing! Definitely recommend to anyone who intends to sweat a lot!
