- Each Saalt Disc is made from 100% medical-grade silicone, designed to be biocompatible, long-lasting, and gentle on sensitive tissue. The included storage bags are made from soft, durable, and washable cotton.
Product Features
- Available in two sizes, the Small Saalt Disc is slightly more compact and ideal for lighter flow days or those with a lower cervix, while the Regular size offers more capacity for heavier flow or longer wear time. Both discs are ultra-soft, flexible, and designed with a patent-pending finger notch that makes removal simpler and cleaner. They can be worn for up to 12 hours, and unlike some menstrual cups, they’re designed to stay in place without applying pressure to the bladder. The included carry bags come in neutral colors and feature drawstring closures for discreet, hygienic storage.
Returns
- Due to the intimate nature of the product, returns are not accepted for opened packages. However, if your item arrives damaged or you experience any issue with your order, reach out within 30 days and Saalt will make it right.
Specifications
- The Small disc holds 30 mL of fluid and measures approximately 52 mm in diameter. The Regular disc holds up to 50 mL and measures about 62 mm in diameter. Both have a soft, contoured rim and flexible body for optimal comfort.
Measurements
- Fit varies by body, but as a general guide: the Small disc is best suited for people with a low-to-medium cervix height, while the Regular works well for those with a higher cervix or heavier flow. For help determining your cervix height, Saalt offers online resources and personalized support.
Product Care
- To clean, wash your Saalt Disc with mild soap and warm water after each use. Between cycles, you can sanitize it by boiling for 5-7 minutes. Make sure it’s fully dry before storing it in the provided cotton bag. Avoid using harsh cleaners, antibacterial soaps, or scented products, as they can degrade the silicone.
End of Life
- While Saalt Discs are designed to last up to 10 years with proper care, when it’s time to retire yours, check with your local medical silicone recycling programs. If no options are available, Saalt recommends sending it back through their take-back program or disposing of it in your household waste as a last resort. The cotton storage bags can be repurposed or recycled with textiles.
