I have bought refillable floss in this format (glass container w/spindle of floss in plastic-free packaging) from a few different brands and all were great. But this ZWS floss tore apart between each tooth every try, meaning this product is useless for its intended purpose. I'm trying to think of alternative uses, e.g. crafts, but it might just go straight to my compost bin. EarthHero, please consider carrying other brands of floss!

Terrible. Breaks between molars. I have used other silk floss that works just fine. This disintegrates into pieces almost immediately. Unusable.

I was excited to try this floss after finishing up a container of conventional floss. What I noticed is that this floss is a little thicker than plastic based floss, and that thickness meant it would not easily slide between my teeth. Apparently my teeth, especially molars, are pretty snug, and I've I've always had to wiggle floss back and forth to get it to slip between my teeth. That same wiggling action meant this silk floss broke against my teeth instead of sliding between them. I tried three times on the same set of molars with the same result each time. I had a pile of short broken strips and had only flossed between 5 teeth. I floss daily, and I've never broken floss against my teeth before.

This is the floss for me, except every once in a while I get a roll that just breaks on every attempt to floss, and the it gets stuck in my teeth and I need to floss it out but can't because it just breaks again. That's really frustrating, and the whole roll goes right into the compost. I'm already a little embarrassed about how much I pay for my floss, but when I have to toss it all out it adds insult to injury. BUT that's only happened a couple times and I've been buying this product for a couple years now, and it is usually great.

I’ve purchased this floss 5 different times now and the latest was rough. The first four orders were great! It snapped prematurely maybe once in a while, but I figured it wasn’t that big a deal. The latest batch I got was just as bad as some of the other reviews are making it out to be. It was snapping when trying to get it through my molars, it was shredding and getting stuck between my teeth, it was snapping 4-6 times each flossing session. I don’t understand what happened to the quality or if maybe it was a bad production batch. I’m trying the charcoal version next in hopes of better results. Maybe this latest production batch needs to be tossed or sold at a discounted price?
