Masa + Olive Exfoliating Face Paste

Love this brands products. Unlike most face masks that have lots of extra wrapping, packaging and trash as a consolation prize this brand is sleek and feel good minimalist. I can enjoy the pampering product and not feel like a monster for adding unnecessary trash to my local land fill. This mask with kick the butt of any break out. I like to apply this mask after a hot water rinse to open pores then allow to fully dry and tighten to remove blackheads and other nasty things. Then I’m shower I gently use wash cloth to rub away masks in circles to help overall smooth skin texture. Then I throughly moisturize after my shower. This mask isn’t overly drying but really makes a difference to turn the tide against breakouts and clogged pores.

Easy to apply, just add a little bit of water, then rub onto your face. Smells good and feels amazing, the skin feels rejuvenated and moisturized after application. Good for sensitive skin, too.

Leaves my skin feeling very soft!

Mix with enough water for best results. I love the feel of clean without overdrawing. Leaves your face feeling smooth and lovely.

LOVE this scrub. Will be coming back for more. Product instructions online don't match the jar I received but I did not have to mix mine any. 1/2 tsp plus a few drops of water. Don't wash off right way, so your skin gets the moisturizing benefits of the olive oil. Gentle enough for daily use and smells great too!

Love this product! A pleasant earthy smell on application, add a little water and it goes on with much less mess. Afterwards my skin feels very clean and baby face smooth.
It does need a little mixing first, which is a bit tricky the first few times of use as there's not a lot of ‘room' in the jar.
Will definitely purchase again!

It only takes a pea size to cover your whole face; the texture is perfect for scrubbing away all the dead skin and it didn't leave my skin feeling dry. I've used so many face scrubs and this one is my favorite. I will definitely repurchase!

I have dry combination skin, and I was looking for an exfoliating face mask for my evening routine. I really LOVE the smell, and the overall consistency is great. The value and quality is worth the price, and it really does moisturize well.

I personally don't mind the separation ( they recently reformulated this per their website so you don't have to mix prior to application), but you may want to ask if this particular jar is the reformulation or the older one. HINT: they both work exactly the same. :)

The only reason this is getting 4 stars instead of 5 is it made a mess on my bathroom counter. I think I'll try a different brand next time, but this one really isn't bad at all. I'll definitely still keep this in mind when shopping around, because it's very competitively priced for other exfoliating masks.

I am absolutely wild for the ingredients, which make my skin feel so soft afterwards and give me a beautiful glow thanks to the olive oil. The application is really easy, yummy smell that reminds me of tamales, and easy storage too. It's a good idea to have a tiny spoon set aside for its use to keep the batch clean. Great size for sharing or keeping to yourself for weekly spa nights. Will buy again when it runs out!

Update, bought another 2 of these (June 2021) as they've made it into my daily face routine. It's the perfect exfoliator that isn't too harsh on my skin, smells great, and is an excellent moisturizer.

I love this product. You need to stir it every time but it's great!

Consistency was different than I expected, but my skin felt awesome after using it! Make sure to read the directions first as it is slightly different than a normal face scrub

Definitely scrubby but did not leave my skin feeling scorched like some exfoliants. Skin felt soft, moisturized after use. The oil separates out so you do need to really mix it well, but it worked very well once I got it mixed.
