If you've heard of the plastic-free lifestyle, but think you don't have time for it in your busy life, prepare to be delightfully wrong. Goodbye Plastic shows you how, whether you're seeking to knock plastic out of your life or just try out a few novel eco-hacks in your kitchen, bathroom, office or dining room. Plastic pollution activist, and founder of ECOLunchbox Sandra Ann Harris invites us to say goodbye to plastic, room by room. Opportunities abound to simplify our lives by re-thinking our wasteful habits--we just need to learn to recognize them.
Women Owned
This brand is owned by a majority of women. This includes everything from a small one-woman shop to a larger company where more than 51% of women make up the ownership team.

FSC Certified Wood
Products with the Forest Stewardship Council certification are made from or with wood sourced from FSC managed forests. FSC standards ensure the respect and wellbeing of indigenous peoples, forest workers, and local communities. Harvesting in certified forests maintains the ecological functions of each habitat. FSC prohibits the use of pesticides, GMOs, and the conversion of forests to plantations. As a third party, not-for-profit agency, FSC provides nonbiased audits of forest management.

Low Impact Dyes or Inks
Low impact dyes and inks can include vegetable, soy, or water-based alternatives and generally do not contain toxins such as heavy metals, plasticizers, flurocarbons, and fomaldehyde. They typically also use less water than conventional dyes and inks.

Recyclable
This product contains recyclable materials. It may be recyclable with curbside recycling collections, but might need to be sent to a special recycling facility. Contact your local waste-hauler or recycling facility for details. Appropriate facilities may not exist in your area.

Recycled Content
Recycling is the process of taking an otherwise-discarded item or material and cleaning, sorting, and breaking it down into its basic form (such as fibers or pellets). This material is then used to produce new items. Recycling keeps useful materials from being discarded in landfills, prevents resource extraction due to the creation of new materials, and provides a new life for used items. Recycling can utilize both pre-consumer waste (materials left over from production) or post-consumer materials (used clothing, empty water bottles, etc).

ECOLunchbox

ECOlunchbox believes in a simple concept: nutritious and delicious lunches should be packed in non-toxic containers and fill your bellies, not the garbage can. With their collection of dishwasher safe, stainless steel food storage containers and cotton lunch bags, it's easy to ditch the plastic tubs, one-time baggies, yogurt squeezers, and wrapped snacks. That means less waste on the environment, and a healthier, non-toxic lunch for you! Founder and mom-on-a mission, Sandra Ann Harris, believes that the best way to reduce waste is to not create it in the first place. By offering reusable alternatives to everyday lunchbox items, ECOlunchbox helps people to move beyond using plastics, one meal at a time.
