Paraben Free
Parabens are synthetic chemical preservatives, commonly used in beauty products like shampoo, lotion, and deodorants. Parabens can accumulate in your body, and have been linked to hormonal disruption and reproductive problems. In studies of breast cancer patients, parabens have been found in the tissue of cancerous tumors. If you want to avoid Parabens in your beauty products, keep an eye out for methylparaben, propylparaben, butylparaben, and ethylparaben in the ingredients list.

Phthalate Free
Phthalates are found in toys, electronics, personal care products, plastic wraps, containers, and more. These petroleum based chemicals help soften plastics, and bind fragrances to perfumes, deodorants, creams, and other personal care products. Phthalates are are not chemically bound, meaning they can easily get released into the air, water, or your body, just by using the products as intended. Phthalates have been found to disrupt the endocrine system, which can cause reproductive damage, hormonal imbalances, infertility, mood changes, metabolism changes, and more.

Plastic Free
No petroleum-based plastics are used in this product or its packaging. Plastic can be difficult to properly recycle, may never biodegrade, and is known to leech toxic chemicals into our bodies and environment. Single-use plastics also require extracting and processing of finite resources, so seeking out biodegradable, infinitely recyclable, or durable products and packaging is recommended whenever possible.

Sulfate Free
Sulfates are synthetic chemical ingredients commonly used in beauty products and household cleaners, like shampoos and dish soaps. You can usually identify sulfates in an ingredients list by looking out for the most common types: Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLC) and Sodium Laureth Sulfates (SLES). These chemicals, often derived from petroleum, are used to help form the “lather” we’re used to seeing in our beauty and cleaning products. When used in the shower or sink, these chemicals can flow through the pipes and into our waterways. Synthetic sulfates have been linked to allergic reactions, eye and skin irritation, and hair loss, and some studies suggest they contain carcinogenic ingredients.

Face Oil

I like this face oil, it smells nice, it seems to go on easily and doesn't leave my skin greasy. I'm giving it 4 stars because I don't *love* it. My skin feels pretty hydrated after using it, but I do have other oils that I feel like my skin a little bit more hydrated.
Overall though, I like it and would reccommend it.

Good cleansing balm

Works well on getting things clean and washes off well. Knocked off a star because it’s a bit gritty which wasn’t mentioned in the description and I don’t like doing physical exfoliation every night.

One of the best.

I’m an esthetician and can vouch for how great these ingredients are. It has oils that are non comedogenic, meaning they won’t clog your pores. Calendula is very calming for skin and helps seed oil and jojoba make this blend go right into your skin as their are similar to our natural lipid barrier. The smell is great, in my opinion. This brand has been one of my favorites for years and I LOVE the earthy NATURAL scents in their products. Nothing artificial, which a lot of people are used to and sometimes it takes time to wean off the synthetic fragrances you’re used to in most products. This brand is crazy affordable, too, for the high quality, sustainable, natural ingredients they use. I appreciate the mindfulness of this company. This ends my soapbox talk.
