The splash control design seems good but as of them being natural… they have an incredibly strong chemical odor, even months after I bought them. The “soft interior” portion is made of non natural materials.

Hi Stephanie, we’re sorry to hear that you aren’t loving these gloves as much as you’d hoped! We love that they are made with eco-friendly materials – the glove itself is made with 100% natural latex, the cuffs are 100% cotton, and the inside lining is a blend of nylon and rayon from plant fibers. Natural Latex can have a strong ‘latex’ smell, even though it’s natural! We’ve found that if the scent is bothersome, leaving the gloves out to dry in a sunny, outdoor spot for a few hours can help.

I bought this gloves because the cheap gloves I was buying didn’t last more than 2 weeks without getting holes in them, so I was expecting this gloves to last longer but I was very disappointed. They started to shed too quickly, but I could live with that, however, after 1 week of use one of the gloves got 2 holes, I hope I just got a bad batch because the point of buying this gloves was to reduce waste and they ended up creating more waste than other gloves I used before.

Hi Meli! We’re sorry to hear that these gloves ripped so quickly after purchase! That is definitely not what we’d expect. Our team will be in touch shortly to learn more and assist!

These exceeded my expectations. Love that they come in more than one size, really soft in side, and get the job done!

I was super disappointed when these gloves didn’t last more than 3 months without getting holes from wear and the soft flocking on the inside was shedding horribly. This happened to a previous pair that I had purchased, but I thought it was a fluke…Apparently not.

Great gloves for cleaning or washing dishes. I ordered mine months ago and they still look and feel new. Would definitely recommend!
Changing this review as the gloves did not last as I would have liked. If we are trying to cut down on waste, then we need heavy duty product alternatives. I did reorder them – I like the way they feel, but I wish they lasted better.

Not only did these fit my small hands perfectly but it has so many extra features from regular dish gloves. They have loops to hang them, the cuff keeping water out of the gloves, and they’re lightly fuzzy on the inside to add cushion and incase any water gets inside, you still have a good grip and dry hands. I will definitely purchase again!

I’ve been using this for a month now, twice daily. The lining shed in small areas in the first 2 days (mostly from having to wring things out, I would suggest taking them off perhaps!), and it feels unpleasant to wear once that happens. Note that my hands are too small for the smallest size, so wringing probably made the situation worse! I’ll solely buy because of the company, but the gloves themselves are very durable and haven’t torn at all.

I bought two pairs one for cleaning dishes & one for trimming plants. The latex is thick & the lining is very comfortable. The one I used for plants got a small tear in the thumb maybe from the hard stem or the trimmer. The one for dishes is still going strong with no holes or tears.
I plan on buying this again for other chores, so I highly recommend these for a variety of tasks!

Question
Nicole (verified owner) –
I got a hole in one of my gloves unfortunately. Already bought replacement. What’s the “end of life” for this product? Is there a way to recycle that glove or does it have to go in the trash? Thanks!

EarthHero (verified owner) –
Hi Nicole! While we love the natural latex and cotton in these gloves, when they are unusable anymore, the proper place of disposal is the landfill.

Its great to see a more eco-friendly option for dish gloves! The lining does eventually shed, but it didn’t bother me all that much and it took months to get to that point, and usually by then I inevitably cut a hole in dish gloves with some sharp knife I’m cleaning. Love the cuff too

I like the gloves, but have two problems with them: 1) the lining rubs off on my hands while I wear them, which is a gross feeling, and 2) the wrist holes are tiny–the hands fit fine, but I have a hard time getting them through the cuffs. Otherwise, they’re great!

I have pretty average sized hands for a woman. these gloves definitely run small. I ordered the largest size (large) and that is the right size for my hands, which are normally a “medium” size for women’s gloves. Terribly for me, the thumb placement on the glove is just slightly too high for these to be comfortable on my hands. Of course all of the glove fingers are longer than my fingers (which isn’t an issue in grabbing things), but when I wear the gloves, my thumb can only go up halfway into the thumb gusset, and there’s so much extra rubber creating webbing between the thumb gusset and the rest of the glove that I can literally pinch it. It makes feeling comfortable wearing these difficult, as I am worried about my grip on the slippery wet dishes and am constantly trying to readjust it to be more comfortable. This is unfortunate, as otherwise this glove is really comfortable to wear, with a soft but not too fuzzy interlining, and thin but durable rubber on the outside. Here are some relevant measurings of both my hand and the glove to help people in picking a size:
Me:
Circumference at widest part of palm (thumb included): 9.62″
Circumference at knuckles: 7.75″
Length along side of hand from pointer finger tip to thumb base: 4.37″
Length of middle finger: 3.25″
Glove:
Circumference at widest part of palm (thumb included): 10″
Circumference at knuckles: 9″
Length along side of hand from pointer finger tip to thumb base: 4.25″
Length of middle finger: 3.62″

These are overall very good gloves I use them every day for cleaning, however, I ordered the size large so that my partner and I could both use them but the large size does not fit him good, they’re a pretty tight fit. He ended up having to get some cleaning gloves elsewhere. Overall when I use them though I love them. They’re very soft on the inside and they feel like very good quality gloves.

Decent gloves, not as softly lined as my previous- also the cuffs are already looking stained, so a darker color may have been a better idea

I am very happy with it. I feel like it is slightly thicker than the cheap plastic gloves from the store, which helps when I use hot water, plus it is more sustainable! The size fits perfect, and I love the pattern!

These are really good! Soft on the inside, holding up well so far. I think they run a little small, so I’d recommend the medium/large size for most people, unless you have super narrow/extra small hands. Highly recommend, though!

Question
Judith Mahnke (verified owner) –
Could you come up with a patch kit for these? I have tried myself using a piece of an old glove and various glues. It has worked OK. Super glue was the best. Shoe goo was very bulky. It would be great if you could devise one. Also the right glove wears out much faster. Could you make every pair 2 right gloves and one left? Or let us buy right gloves separately? Thanks for considering.

I LOVE these gloves! They are comfortable, easy to put on and take off (unlike standard rubber gloves IMHO), and they feel super durable. I’ve only had them for about a month, but I often use them, and I can see them lasting a long time. Once these need to be retired, I will definitely but them again. Hopefully, by that time, they will be fully compostable or recyclable 🙂

Question
Barb (verified owner) –
Hi!
I was just wondering if there is any particular way to dispose of these gloves once they have been worn.
(0) (0) Watch Unwatch
EarthHero (verified owner) –
Hi Barb! We love these gloves because of their natural materials- much better than synthetic alternatives! However, we haven’t found fully biodegradable gloves (yet!) so these will need to be placed in the garbage when they are unusable anymore. However, they’re very durable and built to last a long time, reducing reliance on disposable gloves!

My main want in dishwashing gloves is for internal comfort, as I hate the feeling of latex/rubber. These definitely feel soft & comfortable for the wear. I will say my hands smelled of latex after the first 2 uses, but it slowly diminished. I can’t speak yet to the durability, but I have a feeling these will last for awhile.

I have super sensitive skin and have contact dermatitis from all kinds of chemicals, harsh and not so harsh. I have tried so many different “sensitive skin” gloves and these are the first gloves I have found that do NOT make my hands itch and my skin crack. I’m so relieved to have found something that works.

I haven’t had these for a while so we’ll see how well they hold up but so far these have been great to have on. They’re incredibly comfortable (although, I will say that I probably should’ve gone with a lg. and a sm./m. is probably best for people with particularly smaller hands) and feel very soft inside. I do wish that there was less packaging involved as it came with plastic fasteners and I don’t think I have somewhere to recycle the hang tag while it’s technically recyclable–I don’t think all this packaging was necessary. I also question the nylon lining, as comfortable as it is in there. And I could do with some directions on disposal when these gloves eventually tear (although, this seems it will be a while before they do).

I love these dish gloves but one of the fingers ripped open while I wash washing dishes. I’ve only had them one month, do you folks offer a replacement if they break before a certain amount of time?

I don’t know why it took me so long to get gloves to wash the dishes, but I feel I can never go back! My hands are always cold which makes me want to use hot water, and then really dries out my hands. These gloves keep my hands dry and protect me from getting burned from really hot water.
