Fungdation - Mushroom Foundation

Great for sensitive skin! I break out really bad with all other natural foundations I am so glad I found this one!

This review is for the mushroom foundation. I really like how this feels on my skin, I get eczema easily on my face with foundations and this didn't bother me at all. My complaint is that when I applied it to my face it started looking dry and scaley after about 20 minutes. I tried swapping between facial sponges and brushes for the application, which didn't change the outcome and changing facial moisturizers before application from gel, to olive oil base, to coconut oil base and those also didn't help. I really wanted to love this, I thought I found the perfect alternative to foundations, but I really don't like the splotchy look on my face

I’m blown away! I don’t wear makeup often, but I like to wear it one special occasions. With a dear friend’s wedding approaching, I wanted to find something that felt lightweight but provided great coverage. THIS IS IT! The color matching is phenomenal! I can’t believe I finally found something that matches my skin tone. This stuff is amazing!

I have been dying to get into clean beauty and find products that work with my skin. This is it! This checks all my boxes. I don’t like a dewy look and this was the perfect amount of moisture but smooth matte look at the same time. Highly recommend.

It does wear off throughout the day, but that comes with the territory as I have heard.

i ride by this foundation. i stopped using nasty concealer. even my friend who is a ride or die sephora brand bs was delightfully surprised when she had to borrow my product because she forgot hers. goes on smoothly and blend nicely. definitely wears away throughout the night just a smidge, similar to other non-chemical products.

This is my second purchase of Fungdation. I took the quiz and went with one shade darker than recommended the first time. The color was okay but still seemed too light for my skin tone. The foundation also seemed a bit dry when applying so I had to make sure to hydrate my skin to prep before applying. This time I went with the next darkest shade based on the model which better resembles my hair and skin tone. This shade seems to match my skin color better and also seems easier to apply.
I don’t wear any other makeup and this makes my face look smooth and hides imperfections. Very thankful for clean beauty products like this one.
