Laundry Paste

I love how convenient and easy to use this laundry bar is. It’s perfect for those of us with limited laundry space, and I really appreciate being able to make the whole bar at once or just prepare smaller portions depending on how often I do laundry. The cleaning power is impressive. I work on a farm, and it gets rid of mud and all the smells without a problem. My clothes always come out fresh and clean. I recommend this laundry bar to anyone who will listen!

One bar of this laundry soap has lasted me around 10 months, which is roughly 360 loads of laundry for my 2 person household (average 9 loads of laundry per week). I'm really impressed with its cleaning performance, so I've bought another bar! I recommend using a container you can either easily hold and turn upside down, or easily mix with a utensil when you do laundry, because the soap tends to separate slightly. I use a repurposed 32oz jar which is easy for me to flip and swirl gently to remix the soap. I appreciate the little accompanying info sticker! I have very hard (high mineral) water, so I always use the higher dosage, and often use some oxygen brightener (I use the Meliora one). Thank you EarthHero for being my cleaning hero!

Recently I have been trying to reduce the toxins and plastics in my home. The Zero Waste store has been a great resource and I appreciate they are doing a great job to help people and the planet. I will continue to shop here!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. I shake up the container before every use; my clothes come out clean and residue-free. I like the lavender smell, which is present but not overwhelming, and I like having both liquid detergent and the laundry sheets available.

Leaves my clothes smelling good and feeling great! I use it to clean my carpets too. Spot cleaning, its perfect to keep one bar around that i don’t dissolve.

I ordered around four items so that I would qualify for free shipping. Imagine my surprise and disappointment when EVERY SINGLE ITEM came shipped separately. For a store that promotes itself as “Zero Waste” this was shocking. The multi-use home cleaning powder came in an envelope and was smashed to smithereens. Approximately half of my soap had busted out of the bag and was leaking from the packaging. I will not be ordering from Zero Waste again and will instead be sourcing my supplies from local stores that sell eco friendly products.

I bought 2 1/2-gallon jars about a year ago, and we have been using this laundry paste ever since. It takes overnight to dissolve, but otherwise works exactly as expected. I do think it works best with warm or hot water for anything especially smelly (underwear, kitchen towels, cloth napkins), but our clothes come out clean even just using cold water. I also have skin that is especially sensitive to detergents and this has never made me itchy! It also just feels really good to have kicked our reliance on those big plastic jugs.

Using this concentrate has been really easy! I like how convenient it is and it gives me a reason to use one of my many glass containers. I do wish it had a stronger scent though so that my fresh laundry smelled more satisfying.

I always always love this product! I just soak them in hot water, and put it in a container and add more water to make the suggested size and thats it! Im buying peace of mind in this tiny bar.

I was having a hard time finding laundry soap that works well for me and doesn’t come in a big jug from Costco! This one works well and I love that I can use the same container over and over again.

Really simple instructions - cut off a small square of the block, dissolve in a large jar of water, stir and use 1-2 tablespoons in the wash. Clothes, sheets, and towels have all come out clean! -- UPDATE, it's been six months of using this for about 1-2 loads a week and I just finished my first small square. Loving it!

Everything feels cleaner and smells perfect. It functions well with my front load machine.

It was a hot summer day waiting for the bus and I was getting attacked by different bugs. I just remembered my package had arrived, I reached into my bag opened the package grabbed the spray and quickly sprayed it onto my skin. The results were quick and less then a minute the bugs started disappearing. I started feeling better and refreshed after spraying it on even though I was sweating, but the itchy feeling left quickly. Wouldn't mind buying it again.

I have used this for about 5/6 washes.
I have not noticed a difference from regular detergent, which I was using the pods. I do find that I am using more that it recommends just since it is watery and not thick like soap. I may use oils in the next batch to have more fragrance. Overall I like the product so far

I didn’t have high expectations for this but I ordered it anyway. I’ve been using homemade detergent for years now. Homemade cleaning everything actually. My husband calls them my chemistry experiments 🤣 But this detergent works really well and makes clothes smell clean. And it’s a soap bar I don’t have to make personally. So it’s very convenient. It makes a whole gallon and I use a shot glass worth for a regular load with vinegar in the softener compartment. Fabulous product!

Very pleased with the detergent! The dimensions of the bar itself were surprisingly small, but makes sense since it's concentrated. Easy instructions, dissolved 1/4 in a large jar and it has lasted for months doing a load once a week, making a cost effective option. No complaints!

One bar of this laundry paste has lasted me about 10 months! It works great. I work at a restaurant and come home smelling like old bacon everyday. I do laundry about once a week and don’t usually have to add more than a half ounce to a size-able load. It is exactly what I’ve been looking for.

I like the smell of this detergent and I haven’t had any clothes come out of the wash smelling or looking unclean, but I’m not sold on the effectiveness of this detergent. I shake it up before pouring it in to the machine as it separates when it sits between washes. I am, however, happy to be using something natural. I use much more than the small amount suggested. I wouldn’t trust using just 2 tablespoons or whatever the specific measurement is.

Effective detergent. Super simple to use and replace your usual store bought soap with, just plop in a portion and let sit in water overnight. This also gave me a reason to reuse a plastic container, which I'm always happy about!

So many reasons to love this, and why I feel that others should be more passionate about things like this. The fact that it is so cheap for so much that you get out of it is amazing. I feel blessed by whoever is out here making this for everyone else. Thank you! I have an endocrine disease and am trying really hard to stay away from phthalates after finding that they can be harmful to our bodies. Thank you for making this laundry soap, sustainable, phthalate/francrance free and cheap. You are truly an amazing being. <3
