Zem Mini Backpack

This is our second Terra Thread Mini Backpack (my oldest has used the gray one for 3 years and we just purchased the lavender one for my youngest). I was searching for daycare/school gear that was ethically made and sustainable. We've been very happy with this backpack. It's thick, very durable canvas, the zippers are sturdy, the straps are a comfortable width, and the color stay true after multiple washes (w/ air drying). A standard documents folder easily fits in the pack. We also carry in it daily a small nap blanket, water bottle, poncho, school supplies and small accessories. I will continue to buy Terra Thread bags and highly recommend them!

Ordered this mini backpack and was super happy with the quality of the fabric and the zippers! It washes well and air dries quickly! Also happy with the green color! And it looks super cute! Yay!!!

It’s such a vibrant color turquoise, beautiful lightweight but sturdy canvas. I bought separately the matching color pencil case. It’s so perfect for me for college when I’m not carrying too much around. Otherwise I have the bigger Terra Thread backpack too and love it. The environmental consciousness of the brand appeals to me, but also how functional yet simplistic their well stitched heavy duty canvas products are. I feel like I can make them last years and years, but they look good too. :)

I like this backpack because it is well made with roomy usefull compartments. The floral design is great. The back straps are padded just right for comfort.

I wanted a backpack that would last and is ECOFriendly for my daughter. It’s well made, feels strong, and priced reasonably compared to others I looked at.
We homeschool but we have a co-op we attend. I was surprised, for such a small footprint, it holds a lot! It fits her perfectly (she’s a petite 8yo) and yet still fits folders, binders, and her books. Her other smaller backpack didn’t fit folders or binders which made it pretty worthless for school. I’m so impressed!
(Also the special edition print is way more beautiful in real life!)

I've found the perfect backpack! My daughter just started 9th grade, so getting the *right* backpack was critical of course. It couldn't be dorky or have wheels (her requirements) and had to be well made and sustainable but not ridiculously expensive (my requirements). After looking at 500 backpacks ( felt like it at least) we got the Earth in Mustard, she loves it and even got high tops to match :) My only wish is that you'd add a few subtle prints like Dalmation spots, tiny Leopard, abstract designs, tie-dye ( other than floral) etc... to mask the pen, food and dirt stains ;) Now could you ***please*** make a chic fanny pack for me ?

Purchased the teal mini backpack and it's perfect for work! It's spacious enough to fit 2 tumblers and very nice quality. Glad I found Terra Thread!

So I used to really be into kanken backpacks, but I wanted a medium sized bag and that they did not have. The terra thread bag was so cute sturdy and the perfect size for me. I love the company standards and how every purchase gets used to help a community. Shipping was so extremely fast and I have no complaints at all I love it♡ the only thing i have had troubles with is the zipper but other than that fantastic purchase!

I love this little backpack. It’s a great size for day trips, outings and just using around town when a larger backpack is too much. It’s sturdy and comfortable and I love that it’s cotton and totally plastic-free. Great color too. I only wish the interior pocket zipped.

Shipping was crazy fast and once I got the bag you could feel the difference in quality compared to others. I would definitely recommend this for someone who doesn’t like to carry around purses !

I got this over the summer for my kindergartener to use as his main school pack and it's been perfect! We sewed on a few patches. It fits his folder, lunchbox, water, and a sweater perfectly.

Sweet little backpack—just the right size for a sketchbook and all the necessities. Love the orange!

love this bag for my 5 year old! he's used it every day for 2 years and it's still going strong. it fits him perfectly, and also fits a standard sized folder that he needs to bring back and forth to kindergarten every day. we also bought some iron-on patches to put on the front for his first day of school, and they look great and add a little extra fun touch. we are even going to now get another one for my 2.5 year old in her favorite color! like another reviewer said, what would make it *perfect* would be an outer pocket for a water bottle... please, terra thread?!

Absolutely adore the zemi mini! Owned a Fjall raven and much prefer the size and material of the Terra Thread pack. Extremely happy with this item in moss green.

To put it simply, I LOVE this backpack. I literally caught myself thinking “I hope Terra Thread is around for when my daughter starts school so she can pick out her own someday”. She’s not even 1 yet, so Terra Thread I’m gonna need you around for the long haul!
I use this as my diaper bag and it’s perfect. I bought three of the “makeup” bags to organize different things. One pouch fits a few diapers, her wipes, and the foldable changing pad easily. I use the other one to keep her toys in and one for a fresh change of clothes and an extra burp cloth. When the time comes, I’ll be buying another pouch to store snacks in. This little bag is the perfect size and holds so much. The quality is unmatched. I’ve been using the same “Bagalini” backpack for ~6 years and I know this bag will outlast that one by a long shot.
If you’re eyeballing one of these bags, but it. You won’t regret it. The hardest part is choosing a color. I went with the brown and I LOVE it.

I’ve been wanting a soft backpack that was comfortable to wear. Not too big or too small. Big enough to stash my small crossover bag in with other things. This works great.

Love this bag currently using it as a diaper bag since my baby is almost 1 now I don’t need to carry around a huge diaper bag lol. This bag is the perfect size not to big not to small. The one thing I wish it did have though was a pouch on the side for a water bottle to be held in.

Got this for my son for school. Roomy enough for his needs and love the different pockets/sections it provides. Love the outer water bottle holders. It can fit little kid 12oz water bottles or a decent sized water bottle of mine that holds 28oz. Anything up to about the diameter of a straight sided wide mouth mason jar (so around 3 inches) but my really big water bottle with 3 1/2 inch diameter is too big to place into it. Hope that helps someone. Haha.
Like another person mentioned- the straps end up dangling a great deal if adjusted for a small kid. I just folded the excess in half and the tied it into a knot on itself. I might trim and sew it at some point, or might just leave it. It doesn’t really cause much of an eyesore or anything.

Nice quality backpack! Happy that's it's made of organic cotton and can be easily washed. Good size backpack for young elementary kids. When adjusting the shoulder straps to fit young kids there ends up being a lot of slack and the straps hang pretty low. I assume since these backpacks can be used by adults too the straps have to be pretty long. It is noticeably heavier than a comparable nylon/polyester backpack but still light compared to a loaded backpack. The shoulder strap buckles are a little harder to adjust since it's cotton straps and metal buckle vs nylon/plastic.

Got it for my wife for Mother's Day and she loved it! Lots of pockets and the perfect size for daily use.

This is my second backpack from Therra Thread and I love this brand, I can’t imagine having any other backpack from this company. This backpack is the perfect size for me and the color is so pretty and neutral ! The quality is so nice and sturdy!

Got this for a Disney vacation and it was the perfect size to hold what I needed for the day but also go on rides. However, it did get very linty and I even washed it upon getting home and it is still so. It might just be an issue with the black color so maybe get a different color would be my suggestion.

It’s a perfect basic backpack. It’s not too small or too large. I personally use it as a school bag and purse. Works great! Love the double way zipper

After lots of reviewing I decided to purchase a mini backpack for my son. It’s been a hit with him (because it’s blue just like he asked for) but I also love it because it fits everything he we need but isn’t too big for his 5 year old frame. He still has room to grow into it but it’s working great size wise even now. I also love the material it’s made out of and knowing it’s good for his little body and the awesome mission of the company is an added bonus! Two thumbs up all around!

My granddaughter says she can’t wait to wear it the first day of school. “Everything fits in it” she texted.

I was nervous about the size and how this would end up working for my 5 year old going into kinder but it's perfect! I didn't want her to 1) have a massive backpack too big for her to be wearing (like most kids do) and 2) as I try to do with the majority of my purchases I wanted to be conscious of the product and manufacturer I was spending my hard earned money on.

The quality is outstanding, the size is wonderful, and the pockets for storage are perfect!

I bought this backpack for my 3 year old going into preschool and the straps don’t adjust small enough. I sent him with my mini which I use as a purse and will just save this one for when he’s older.

It was a gift for my great grandson, he picked it out. It arrived very quickly after I ordered it. I would buy again!
