Settle into the warmth of familiar wood with Wildwood’s Oak Candle. Aged oak, earthy vetiver, and resinous notes create a dry, comforting fragrance suited to reading corners and slow evenings. Inspired by the Oak Trail at Portland’s Hoyt Arboretum, it brings an outdoors-inspired atmosphere home, with a crackling wooden wick adding another cozy layer.
Products that are labeled as BPA free do not contain Bisphenol A, a chemical commonly found in plastic products. Studies on BPA exposure have shown that high levels of BPA could lead to hormone disruption, effects on behavior and brain function, reproductive problems, breast cancer, heart disease, infertility, and more.

Product Features
- The wooden wick adds a gentle crackle alongside the woody fragrance. After use, the vessel can become useful non-food storage rather than a disposable container.
Specifications
- Net candle weight is 11 ounces, or 311 grams, in a vessel described as 13.5 ounces. Burn time is up to 60 hours and varies with use.

- The vessel measures 4.25 inches high and 3 inches in diameter, approximately 10.8 × 7.6 centimeters.
Product Care
- When cool, trim the wooden wick to approximately 0.2 inches before each burn and remove trimmings. On the first burn, allow the melted wax to reach the vessel’s edges, typically two to three hours. Use a level, heat-resistant surface in a ventilated room, away from drafts, children, pets, and flammable objects. Never leave unattended or extinguish with water. Stop using cracked glass and discontinue burning when half an inch of wax remains.
End of Life
- Let the remaining wax cool completely, then gently remove it and the metal wick tab without damaging the vessel. Dispose of wax in the trash rather than down the drain. Clean the glass for non-food storage or recycle only where candle vessels are accepted.
