- The Coarse Grater is best for grating firm cheese, garlic, ginger, shallots, nuts, and produce. The Fine Grater is best for grating firm cheese, chocolate, citrus, nuts, chiles, ginger and garlic. Both come with a plastic safety cover for safe storage.
