Coastal Forests Deodorant- Vegan, Aluminum Free

First time trying a baking soda deodorant and it worked perfectly. My armpits smelled fresh all day long but then they started to scab over and peel. I do have sensitive armpits so it may just be me.

It’s great to find a more sustainable deodorant that actually works. Native was horrible and only like two of their products were paper unlike this brand. I love supporting brands that I actually share ethics with, especially ones that work as advertised. I still worry about possible smells because I swear a lot but as a deodorant, at least I don’t smell it.

This is the first one I tried and I'm sold! Love the fresh, clean, floral Plumeria scent. I have already worked outside in the swampy heat and I didn't stink! My adult son thought it smelled good on me and so I let him try it and now its on his dresser lol! I'm keeping this on subscription so that I can keep it coming because we both like it. It works, the cardboard tubing is great, the deodorant size is a good size, no plastic, and the price isn't bad.

I really wanted to like this. I’m trying to use less plastic, I want to use more natural products, and when I’ve used natural deodorants before, I would always gets a rash, and I’ve tried a few times with a few different brands. And while it did work better and last longer than other natural deodorants, I did still have some pretty noticeable BO after a few hours.

I will say, the rash I got from this was definitely less bad than the ones I’ve gotten from other natural deodorants. I may try to use one of the detox products on this site and try again in the future.

I LOVE the lemon scent! I also don't put on deodorant daily, but it still kept me odor free. This definitely isn't as effective as a standard drugstore deodorant, but it gets the job done. I should add that when you finish a drugstore/aluminum deodorant and want to transition to a natural one, wait a few days without deodorant first. For me it was more effective this way.

Can’t review a product I never received I would like to try a new deodorant or get reimbursed!

I just started to use it i love that its all paper and storage and the smell stays strong all day when i use it!

We’ve been struggling to find an effective vegan, aluminum free deodorant that won’t clump up and won’t leave a stain on clothing (why does deodorant need to be colored anyway?). This one is great! It smells fantastic, leaves no stains, and is minimal in clumping. Highly recommend!

I really wanted to love this brand, but it made my skin break out horribly.

I like this deodorant! Works well so far, leaves me odor free. Looking forward to seeing how it works in the height of summer :-)

I have been using this deodorant for years now and LOVE Bright Sunny Morning as-well-as the Coastal Forest scent. Perfect for everyday use and the scents are wonderful. Thanks for an amazing product.

Great packaging on the deodorants, plus the smells are really a nice alternative.

I ordered two of these deodorants and so far have only been able to use one, when I try to push up to use the other one it doesn't go up, I checked and it doesn't appear that there's a seal that needs to be broken. So I'm not sure what I need to do.

I love that this comes wrapped in paper and the scent is very nice.

I tried Coastal Forests. The scent was nice, if a bit potent at first. It kept me dry and smelling nice all day, but I did develop red splotches in my armpits after a couple days of use. I switched back to a different deodorant and the rash went away.

The deoderant works well. I got the cypress scent and it's a little too christmassy for me. I'm gonna go with a different scent next time. I also don't feel like it's lasting very long, especially given the price. I love the packaging.

I have tried so many paper-tube deodorants and this is the ONLY one that has worked for me. *****

Went through one stick and have started another. As an active cyclist and runner in the southeast, I sweat a lot. This stuff works - I smell OK after a long ride or run! The paper tube holds up well - LOVE that it's plastic-free and vegan/animal friendly!

I have tried a couple other brands of plastic-free deodorants and vegan deodorants, but this one is BY FAR my favorite! I stay telling people to check out ZWS and have specifically reccommended this product to my loved ones. I cannot get over how fantastic I smell every time I put on the 'Bright Shiny Morning' scent. The only downside is if it gets really hot (like leaving it in the car), it does get pretty mushy, but just be mindful and don't push so hard. It's still easy to apply. This is coming from a woman who does not shave her armpit hair, by the way!

Does not go on sticky, dries nicely and smells great.

Love this deodorant! And I’ve tried many many different zero waste & natural deodorants before. This is the one for me! Thanks for creating this! And having it at the zero waste store. My fav it’s the Coastal Forests!
