I have very fine short hair and it struggles to comb through it since the bristles are so close together. I find myself not grabbing for it. I do like the look.

I’d rate if 4 stars on appearance and material. It has a handsome sleek appearance. I love the aesthetic and wood substance.
Unfortunately, the tines are so blunt and rounded, it hardly works. It does only slightly better than rubbing a chunk of 2×4 lumber on your head. I’d give it 1 start on functionality.
Redecker or somebody ought to make a wooden comb with fine, tapered teeth. Um, like a comb. I suppose the wood would need to be super hardened or pliable, so the tines don’t break off. But then it would actually work and be beautiful at the same time!

Doesn’t work for my hair, which isn’t super thick. Works for my partner who has thinner hair. Very beautiful though!

This comb is very pretty, like others have said. It’s very sturdy but it is pretty small….think black plastic men’s comb small. I have thick curly hair so it wouldn’t work when my hair is dry. However, I have been using it to detangle my hair when I get out of the shower.

the comb looks good enough. the natural wood is very attractive. the teeth of the comb, however, are so thick and so poorly shaped for combing that it is basically worthless for my hair, my facial hair, or my girlfriend’s hair. I am going to attempt to sand the teeth to get them into a better shape, but I shouldn’t have to, especially for how expensive this was.

Absolutely love it! It is a little small but very hardy and the length was mentioned in the description. I have thick, straight hair and while it takes a little longer than my brush I have much less breakage and the comb itself is just beautiful. It feels more caring to use than my previous brush

It’s particularly good for kids hair but I use it on my own too. I’ve had no issues

This comb is really tiny and the comb bristles are very close together! I can’t really get it through my thick hair, even though its short, which is a bummer. The comb is pretty and well made just not for me. Probably a great option for children especially.

Question
Nish –
Hi, can you use this on slightly damp hair or wash the comb without danger of the wood splitting over time? Is there a specific way to take care of the comb so it lasts for a long time? Thanks.

EarthHero –
Hi Nish! This comb should be fine on slightly damp hair. To take care of this comb and wash it, you just rinse with water, blot excess water with a towel, and then let air dry completely. As long as you follow these same instructions after using on damp hair, I think the comb will hold up nicely! Redecker products are built to last!

It’s small–5 inches. But it is very nice to use and is a great alternative to plastic combs.
