Paraben Free
Parabens are synthetic chemical preservatives, commonly used in beauty products like shampoo, lotion, and deodorants. Parabens can accumulate in your body, and have been linked to hormonal disruption and reproductive problems. In studies of breast cancer patients, parabens have been found in the tissue of cancerous tumors. If you want to avoid Parabens in your beauty products, keep an eye out for methylparaben, propylparaben, butylparaben, and ethylparaben in the ingredients list.

Phthalate Free
Phthalates are found in toys, electronics, personal care products, plastic wraps, containers, and more. These petroleum based chemicals help soften plastics, and bind fragrances to perfumes, deodorants, creams, and other personal care products. Phthalates are are not chemically bound, meaning they can easily get released into the air, water, or your body, just by using the products as intended. Phthalates have been found to disrupt the endocrine system, which can cause reproductive damage, hormonal imbalances, infertility, mood changes, metabolism changes, and more.

Sulfate Free
Sulfates are synthetic chemical ingredients commonly used in beauty products and household cleaners, like shampoos and dish soaps. You can usually identify sulfates in an ingredients list by looking out for the most common types: Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLC) and Sodium Laureth Sulfates (SLES). These chemicals, often derived from petroleum, are used to help form the “lather” we’re used to seeing in our beauty and cleaning products. When used in the shower or sink, these chemicals can flow through the pipes and into our waterways. Synthetic sulfates have been linked to allergic reactions, eye and skin irritation, and hair loss, and some studies suggest they contain carcinogenic ingredients.

The scent is lovely, however, it is light, and I find myself using about 5-6 sprays to get a good whiff… includes ylang ylang - a very floral scent, so if you're not into that, probably best to avoid this product.

nice scent

I love the scent of lavender and liked that this lavender came in a spray bottle. It smells lovely but the scent is definitely light. I find that I use about 2 or 3 sprays per pillow and then a few more on the sheets.

It's alright. Scent is a light, slightly sweet floral which I personally am not a fan of as I prefer more earthy scents and was expecting to smell more of the lavender or bergamot. Consistency is definitely a lot more watery compared to other pillow mists I've tried.

Excellent product, I can't wait to buy more!!

I took some time before making this review so that I could test if it really did help with my sleep. I took a little over a week of using it and then took a couple days recently when I didn't use it. OMG it totally works. When I'm using it I fall peacefully to sleep in basically in what feels like a matter of minutes. It's not even just the amount of time it's the serenity. The scent of this product makes it a joy to lay down for the evening. I usually will spray it on my pillow at least a few minutes before I go to sleep so that there's no moistness when I lay down but that's my only caveat. On the general sleep side, I don't usually have problems sleeping, except for when I'm anxiously thinking about something. That said, it does usually take me more time to get to sleep than what it takes when I'm using the spray. This spray is so fabulous that I can't wait to buy and use other products from Earthy Edith's. Magnificent product, highly satisfactory results.
