Refillable Body Lotion

I live in a very cold climate and go through so much lotion, especially in winter. This body lotion feels both light and nourishing, and it smells so good! I love their bottle recycling program! It's super easy to ship the empty bottles back in the same box it arrived it!

I really like the concept of this body lotion, no plastic, reusable and refillable. The lotion rubs in quickly and isn’t greasy.

My husband is VERY picky. He has used the same Suave lotion for 20+ years. Since we are going plastic free he gave this a try and loves it!

The this lotion! Both scents are lovely. I use it after showering and as a hand lotion. I love love that the bottle is easily recyclable, or you can ship it back to the company to reuse.

Love the body lotion but am allergic to nickel so not sure it will be the best over time. If I could have the lotion in glass I would happily participate in recycling the old containers.

But otherwise the lotion is great and I have dry skin from eczema and it’s the only lotion I’ve used that I don’t have to use very much.

Lotion is a 5, packaging is a 3, that is why I picked 4 stars.

It’s good to find a refillable lotion! The scent is such a nice mix of fresh and earthy.

This lotion is very lightweight and if you're thinking about getting the unscented version be aware that it smells pretty "earthy"

I have been using this lotion for the past few years, and I still really love it. It softens my skin quite nicely and keeps it moisturized. It smells pleasant but not overbearing and a little goes a long way. I love the aluminum bottles it comes in and find other products to put in them when the lotion is gone, or I recycle. This is also organic which is a must in my home. Overall, I am still very happy with this product.

It doesn't feel super hydrating to me, but it's good to keep in my bag when I'm on the go.

This lotion is soooo good! It's lightweight on the skin, non-greasy, and has fantastic ingredients. It soaks in really well and does a fantastic job of hydrating my dry skin.

The smell was a stronger than I expected. However, I do like how well it moisturizes, and I LOVE that it is a sustainable brand!

I've been searching for an eco-friendly, cruelty-free alternative to Aveeno for a while now(years). Nothing has been able to live up to it so far. I really wanted to like this lotion, but I have dry skin and apparently, it isn't moisturizing enough for me. I am totally ashy on my forearms and all over my shins when using this lotion every single day after showering. I've had this issue with a couple other brands as well that are cruelty-free. Such an expensive product to not work and I will not be buying again.

A good daily moisturizer. I still need to use a richer formula a couple times per week though.

Excellent texture and consistency. Love that the bottle is reusable. The smell is pretty strong (good and refreshing), so if you're hoping for a mellow scent, go for the unscented version. Please start offering another scent option of this lotion, maybe something with vanilla.

Handy refillable bottle but not very moisturizing.

This is convenient and good to have to lather on yourself before going out to workout or walk.

I also want to compliment EarthHero on their delivery! I moved across the country and didn't notice that my phone autofilled in half of the shipping address with my old city/state info until I got the notice my lotion was out for delivery today. I tracked it to see how close and discovered it had the business name and street address for my current work with the city/state of my old place. I messaged EarthHero and they told me not to worry and that they would send it to the right address as soon as it was sent back to them by the post office. This is my favorite lotion when it comes to environmentally conscious products. The scent is not overbearing and pleasant. It works great at keeping my skin soft in the dry climate I live in. I’ve been using this lotion for a couple years and will continue to use it. Very satisfied.

I always tend to use unscented lotion most of the time. I love my big bottle of Plaine Product's unscented lotion because it sinks right into your skin and it's very moisturizing for my constantly dry skin (especially in the winter), but without being greasy. I wanted to share the joy of Plaine Product's refillable and returnable products with my family since I have fallen in love with them over the past year, so I bought a few of these as Christmas gifts for members of my family. I ended up keeping one because I love the unique, delicate, and calming scent of the Rosemary, Mint, Vanilla lotion. I use the same scent of the shampoo and conditioner, but the scent is particularly full and wonderful in the lotion. And everyone who got it for Christmas loves the scent too.

I love the idea and the company, however, this just wasn't moisturizing enough for me. It's very light. It would probably be better in the summer or for someone who doesn't like any greasiness. Because it's fragrance-free, I also used it on my face. It wasn't irritating. I would love to see a cream from them for really dry skin, maybe in a refillable aluminum jar? I saved the pump when I sent back the bottle just in case, but I don't think I'd refill anytime soon.

I've struggled to moisturize consistently, but I love this product! I keep it next to my bed and use it all the time. I appreciate that it's unscented and sustainable, but also effective. And the travel-size bottle makes a great companion on the go.

Pure, healthy ingredients without any of the bad stuff. Goes on smoothly and absorbs well. I love being able to return the bottles to be reused!

Great summer lotion. Both scents are phenomenal. I wish there were more scents available, since it only took me a few weeks to get through one bottle. (I use it on my entire body every day.) As other people have said, this is pricey. It's more expensive than other lotions and lasts a shorter time. Also echoing other reviews, I wish the lotion came in a wider container. I could not reach the last of the product at the bottom of the bottle, even if I left the container upside-down for hours.

Going in, I knew there was a possibility that their face moisturizer and body lotion wouldn't be for me, as I have eczema and dry skin, but really wanted to see if I could love their products. I really tried for 2 months (cause I didn't want to waste) but I think I can safely say now that their current formula is not for those with dry skin. Other than that, I think it was a good experience - I got both unscented, didn't mind what they smelled like, and seem like a nice option for those with regular/oily skin. 4 Stars for generally good experience, but knocked one back as I found it not so affective for my skin type. If Plaine ever comes out with a dry skin formula, I would be very down to try it!
