Refillable Face Moisturizer

I have been looking for a new face moisturizer and wanted one without harsh ingredients so I tried Plaine's. It feels so light weight and leaves my skin feeling hydrated, and the citrus smells amazing! It spreads so well, so even though it's a small bottle it lasts me a couple months. I also love that they are working to reduce waste by letting customers send back their bottles to be used again.

I really like the body lotion, but do not like the smell of the face moisturizer. It absorbs well and doesn’t have any sticky or greasy feeling. But I do not like the smell. If this were offered in fragrance-free I would try it again. I do not recommend for anyone who is fragrance sensitive.

I switched to this moisturizer recently because my previous one was too expensive and I am really happy with it! I love the smell and it really feels like it’s keeping my skin hydrated. Will be refilling when I’m out!

Felt so moisturizing and made my skin feel amazing! Smells great too! A little really does go a long way so it lasts a while!

I love Plaine Product's! They're my go to for body products. Their options always smell great and you can easily use these bottles as is or fill into another container, which is great for travel. I also love that you can send the aluminum bottles back to them.

It was great, just left me not hydrated enough. I have very dry skin though so it's probably best for more oily or normal skin

The formula is nice and lightweight but I don't love the fragrance. I'll continue to use but I'll keep looking for something else for a go to moisturizer.

Love this product. Have been using it over a year. Keeps face moisturized. Light feeling and light smell.

Works well as a regular moisturizer. Sometimes during the winter it isn't quite as hydrating as I would like, but when I need extra moisture I just use the Plaine Products Beauty Oil in addition.

Sinks in quickly without leaving a greasy/thick layer, but my skin is so dry (especially in winter!) that this is not a good solution for me. Someone with an oily skin type would probably really like it, but it's not for me.

I love how this moisturizer is thin but intensely hydrating. It has a similar feel to a gel moisturizer but my face seems to feel hydrated for longer. One of my favorite moisturizers, not to mention a sustainable option!

Makes my face feel nice and soft love

Have had this product for a little more than a month, and can say that it does the job! Hydrates my skin with a scent that is not too strong. Definitely has become a staple in my morning routine.

Feels just like cetaphil, but without the harmful ingredients and plastic bottle. Winning!

Plaine's facial products are always very pleasing to me, and I adore the packaging system. I am very happy that they have a moisturizer as well. It gets the job done and feels nice on the face without being too thick.

I wanted to like this moisturizer but it was just too light for my dry skin. I ended up using it as a neck moisturizer to finish it up. One plus is it lasted a super long time even though I was using about 4 pumps each application.

This is a nice basic facial moisturizer. It is nicely formulated but not a spectacular moisturizer, sometimes my cheekbone area is a little irritated by the product and it does not have super amazing results like some of the other facial moisturizers I have tried from earth hero which come in less sustainable packaging. Because of this and the fact that the formulation does not mix with my facial sunscreen well I will be using it as a hand lotion in my bag instead.

This moisturizer works great with my normal to dry skin and the pump is so easy to use as well! It absorbs quickly but -1 star just because it does leave my skin feeling a little sticky for a little bit compared to my previous moisturizer. Still, I highly recommend and will be refilling when needed <3

I'm always nervous buying facial moisturizer but this one doesn't disappoint. It isn't greasy, absorbs well and does what its supposed to. I would recommend.

I finally ran out of the old moisturizer I was using and was struggling to find a good sustainable/plastic free product. I've seen Plaine Products before and have always been interested in using them, but their shampoos and conditioners seem to cost so much for the amount you get from them. I was so excited to see that they sell refillable moisturizer for a price that I felt like I could justify. I started out only buying the refill so I didn't have to use the plastic pump but honestly that was a mistake - either buy and reuse the pump or use it to refill a container with a pump or a squeeze bottle that you already have. It's a bit too thick to get out of the container by itself every time I use it and so I end up using way more than I actually need to. The product itself works great. I don't think it's too thick (once you actually get it out of the bottle) or too oily, it soaks into the skin pretty quickly, and it smells great!

I ended up using it more as hand lotion than face moisturizer since we are hand sanitizing all the time. I'm reusing the bottle to use up other moisturizers I have so they don't go to waste.

I've been using the body lotion from Plaine Products for a while so when I needed a new face moisturizer trying this one out was a no-brainer. I have dry skin that usually gets very dry when the seasons change. I've found this works really great to soothe and hydrate morning and night. I still need something a little heavier when I have really dry patches but I've noticed I get dry patches much less often while using this

On the journey to slowly but surely into being sustainable, I got this when running low of my previous lotion so perfect timing. It's been 3 months since I started using it, and it works wonderful! I have combination skin so oily on my forehead and somewhat dry on my cheeks and chin, and it leaves my skin so soft! Although, you have to put it on right after a shower since the steam make the skin supple so the moisturizer make the skin feel soft and smooth. When I don't need to shower, I still cleanse my face but moisturizer make my skin feel a bit tight if I don't use my facial rose mist before and after I put it on. The smell is nice and reminds me being in the medicinal garden. I highly recommend this!

I have been using this for a few days now and I am loving it. I can't explain how happy I am to finally have found a sustainable brand of body care products that actually works for me. The fact that you can send the bottles back is fantastic! I took away one star because I'm not a huge fan of fragrance in my skin care. BUT I contacted Plaine products directly and they said a fragrance free line is in the works. If people like the fragrance free hair care they come out with, a fragrance free moisturizer is next in line!

Love the sustainability of this product! It also is a little bigger than it looks like in the picture. You can definitely smell the olive oil in the lotion. It soaks right into my skin leaving no oily residue. Only been using for a few days; so I hope it doesn't break me out. So far so good! Keep working to keep our planet beautiful ❤️🌎🌲

Great moisturizer and their system of sending the bottles back makes so much more sense than senselessly throwing out each bottle you use. I will definitely keep using!

I don't normally like cream like moisturizers and usually buy oil-free moisturizers. I decided to try this though because of the refillable container, and I was surprised that I actually like it ok. It soaks into my skin fairly quickly, spreads around easily, and doesn't leave my face feeling thick and sticky like most cream moisturizers do. So as far as this type of moisturizer goes this is actually really nice!

Formula's a bit too thick for my liking, but it did keep my skin feeling smooth. Lasted a couple months for me, so I think I'd only repurchase during the colder months of the year.
