Modern bike shorts for the modern woman. The Compressive Bike Short from Girlfriend Collective is made from RPET fabric from post-consumer recycled plastic bottles (17 of them!) with a unique four-way stretch and compressive fabric that's perfect for high-impact workouts. Manufacturing these shorts uses fewer raw materials and water and produces far less CO2 emissions than conventional bike shorts. With a mid-thigh length and a cozy 11-inch rise, these non-sheer shorts are your key to worry-free workouts. Plus, the fabric is OEKO-TEX certified for quality, and ethically and responsibly made in fair labor factories! Whether you're biking to work, working out, or simply hanging, these are the bike shorts for you.
BPA Free
Products that are labeled as BPA free do not contain Bisphenol A, a chemical commonly found in plastic products. Studies on BPA exposure have shown that high levels of BPA could lead to hormone disruption, effects on behavior and brain function, reproductive problems, breast cancer, heart disease, infertility, and more.

Low Impact Dyes or Inks
Low impact dyes and inks can include vegetable, soy, or water-based alternatives and generally do not contain toxins such as heavy metals, plasticizers, flurocarbons, and fomaldehyde. They typically also use less water than conventional dyes and inks.
