Chocolate and Steel is proof that you can make a living by following your passion! Christine Street grew up near Los Angeles and was influenced by a childhood of playing outdoors. While she worked in the fashion business for a few years, she knew that she wanted something different - to own a business that's centered around her values. After having her first child, Street decided that it was time to live out her dreams. She officially launched her jewelry line in 2003, and the rest is history!

Chocolate and Steel brings us beautifully handcrafted jewelry with messages that are designed to encourage curiosity, mindfulness, and acceptance. Wearing these pieces not only promotes social movements, but a portion of the profits also goes to supporting the work of social justice organizations. On top of that, Christine has incorporated sustainable practices throughout her whole business model to minimize the environmental impact.
