The Refresh Full Circle Scrubber Sponge may look soft and squishy, but it has a tough, grime-busting secret identity. The two unique sides give the product double the shelf life and double the use! One side features an abrasive texture from recycled water bottles for serious scrubbing, while the other side gently washes away dirt and dust.

BPA Free

Plastic Bank Partner
This brand works with Plastic Bank to measure, reduce, and offset their plastic usage by funding recycling and ocean cleanup efforts in underdeveloped communities around the world. This means that in addition to helping clean up our oceans, they're also investing in recycling infrastructure in developing nations. A brand's partnership with Plastic Bank involves offsetting various amounts of their plastic usage, from partial, to full (plastic neutral) or even offsetting more plastic than they produce (plastic negative).

Recycled Plastic
Recycling is the process of taking an otherwise-discarded item or material and cleaning, sorting, and breaking it down into its basic form (such as fibers or pellets). This material is then used to produce new items. Recycling keeps useful materials from being discarded in landfills, prevents resource extraction due to the creation of new materials, and provides a new life for used items. Recycling can utilize both pre-consumer waste (materials left over from production) or post-consumer materials (used clothing, empty water bottles, etc). Recycled plastic utilizes salvaged post-industrial plastic scraps and post-consumer products such as water bottles and other plastic containers, and transforms them into new products. The containers are sorted, crushed, and then heated to form resins, which are liquid plastics that can harden into new shapes. These resins can be molded and used to create anything from carpet to outdoor furniture. Recycling plastic lowers the amount of petroleum extracted and the production of greenhouse gasses associated with first-time plastic production. Plus, by using these existing materials, we're benefiting from the original energy and resources spent to create them in the first place, while diverting waste from the landfill.

Just as good as regular sponges

I own a lot of cleaning products from Full Circle Home, all good quality, and these sponges are no exception.
They're actually just as good for washing dishes as regular sponges, couldn't tell the difference; maybe they wear off faster, but at least this keep me replacing them faster. The sponges are soft, the scrubby side is not too rough.
They're easy to sanitize, either by putting them in the dishwasher or the microwave.

They Work

These sponges definitely work as sponges. I've ordered them a few times in the past, and I've gotten some where the ink starts to come off right away, doesn't dye anything but it's alarming. I've ultimately decided not to purchase them anymore as I feel I can find a one with a better end of life solution.

Work well or better

These sponges work as well as sponges that not made from recycled material (and much better than a bad or so-so sponge) so why not go with them! They work well! To dispose of them I put them in my Terracycle box so hopefully they stay full circle.

Last longer than regular sponges

I did like this product, but they didn't last as long as my Walnut Scrubber Sponges, but they still last longer that regular sponges

Works well packaging could be better

I like these sponges. I like that they are made from recycled materials and they seem to be holding up well. They do come packaged in a plastic bag which not many people can recycle, so it would be a great improvement to pack them in paper. But good first step.
