Zero Waste Brow Wax

I have very dark eyebrows but need to fill in some sparse areas, and I've been looking to replace my brow pomade for a while. I LOVE this product, the texture is perfect for using with an angled brow brush, and coverage is buildable. Texture looks hard but came out creamy on my brush, and I have no issues with opening/closing the container. I bought this in the dark color and it's perfect for dark brunettes without looking drawn on. Also seems like there's a lot of product in the container so I expect it to last a while. Well worth the price!

This brow wax has become a staple in my zero waste makeup collection. I am a brunette, but dark/bold brows look too severe on me, so I typically opt for the blondest version of brow makeup—the Ash color suits me perfectly. I can fill in my brows without looking like I took a Sharpie to my face, as I have with other brow products. To apply it, I repurposed an old spoolie brush from a previous (plastic) brow coloring product; I bent the spoolie at an angle and just work a little to the brush and then my brows. River Organics makes great products.

This eyebrow wax is the best sustainable alternative I’ve tried to regular plastic wax makeup bottles from most cosmetic stores. The product works great, I love the organic ingredients and how it is sustainably produced!

Overall I like this. I got the dark brown to keep un unruly hairs in place and cover the many white hairs that are popping up in my brows. It works pretty well but wish it would hold the brows up a little better and cover those pesky white hairs. Love the minimal packaging.

I was so excited for this product, but was pretty disappointed by it since it wasn't particularly waxy. It was quite dry and was more the consistency of a brow pencil. I was able to pick it up with my spoolie and apply it, but it didn't provide any hold or "taming", just some color. Maybe my expectations were wrong or I got a slightly dried out container, but this just did not do it for me.

The product itself is good! The color matches well and the texture of the product applies really smoothly. Gives my brows a bit of a “painted” appearance, which I like, so I’m good with it. I love that the packaging is paper, instead of plastic, however, I cannot get the lid off and on the “pot,” so I gave up and leave it open all the time. It works with my routine (and thankfully, the product doesn’t dry out), but it wouldn’t work if I needed to travel with this product.

I love this, packaging is beautiful and it works so well.

Really terrific! Keeps my brows upright and accepts the eyebrow pencil I use to create an arch missing from my natural brows.

I love this item! I have the Ash color and it matches perfectly. The wax goes on smoothly, blends well, doesn't flake or smudge. I am very happy with this purchase.

I really wanted to like this, but the medium brown is more amber than brown. It would be great for a red head. It is also hard to use. I use the brow brush from a brow pencil, but that mostly spreads it on my skin, not the brow hairs.

Natural and stays put

I’m really happy with the consistency and staying powder of this eyebrow wax. I’ve typically used Anastasia in the past, but now I think I’m making the switch permanently. Highly recommend!

I've been looking for a more sustainable solution for my eyebrows instead of using something with plastic, and this was the first eyebrow wax I tried. I love it so much that I started a subscription. It's long lasting and doesn't smudge easily. I haven't had it run down my face when I'm sweating/caught in the rain. Definitely worth it!

I like this brow wax. It doesn’t drop like dust or smear like gels. It keeps the hairs in place. It looked dark in the contain but blends really well. Love the eco-friendly packaging.

I started replacing each item in my home with more sustainable choices as I run out. I used to use Anastasia brow wiz which is amazing so I was skeptical to try something like this but I love it! I am blonde and ordered ash. It looks like it has a green tint to it in the photo and in person but it applies and is a great match. I use the brow brush/applicator the apply and it’s great.

I was looking for a clean/sustainable replacement for my eyebrows and this is it. I love how effortlessly it works and I really stand by the clean organic ingredients & the zero waste packaging. Plus it’s vegan and cruelty free. Can’t beat that!

I've been working from home during COVID, so I haven't been wearing much makeup, but the one thing I won't leave the house without are defined brows. I have patchy brows from years of over plucking in the 90's and need a product that both fills and defines. I had been using a shadow and a separate brush-on brow gel, and wasn't happy about needing two products (2X the packaging!). When I saw that there was a brow wax that came in plastic free packaging I had to try it. I am so happy with this brow wax! Not only has it cut down on the time it takes me to do my brows, going from two products to one, but It looks better! The color is natural and applied with an angled brush it looks like I'm not wearing makeup. I LOVE this product and would highly recommend for a strong eco-conscious brow game!

Hi, Hannah from EarthHero here! I love this brow wax so much. As someone with thinner brows, I'm always looking for makeup that makes them look fuller, without looking drastic. I'm a darker blonde, and I use the "ash" color. It adds just enough color to really help me shape and darken my brows!
