For hundreds of years, the go-to building material in China was Chinese Cedar wood due to its durability, lack of chemicals, and natural resistance to staining, bugs, and mold! So when the founders of bambu came across an old Cedar wood salvage yard near their bamboo factory, it only seemed natural to upcycle the wood into beautiful home decor. Made from hand-selected cedar wood planks reclaimed from old Chinese houses, the lightweight Upcycled Cedar Wood Serving Tray easily manuevers around the kitchen and table. Plus, each tray is totally unique, featuring different grains, lines, and knots!

Lovely

I cannot wait to use this the next time I have company over as it is just beautiful. Perfect for a small appetizer tray or the like. I really love that the piece has some history, since the wood is upcycled from old, Chinese homes. I wish they offered more shapes and sizes. For the beauty and quality, it's a good value. Sure, you can find cheaper items, but this is just a lovely piece you'll be glad you purchased each time you use it, and feel good that you chose something so environmentally friendly.

Beautiful

Light, smooth finish, each with a unique wood grain pattern. Underpriced imho.
