P.F. Candle Co.
This humble company was founded by husband and wife duo, Thomas Neuberger and Kristen Pumphery, in 2008. They were inspired to start P.F. Candle Co in order to provide people with high quality candles with luxurious smells, all at an affordable price. The cute couple sees fragrance as a way to elevate the everyday, which is why their products are also socially conscious. When Kristen lost her job during the recession, and moved to Austin, Texas, she was able to cultivate her do-it-yourself mindset. It was then that she first started her Etsy store and met her husband, Thomas. From that point, their business and passion for exceptional candles expanded into a successful startup!
Since neither husband nor wife have formal business degrees, they saw a fun opportunity to become entrepreneurs, and have been loving every minute of it! P.F. Candle Co began as a small operation located in a studio apartment, and has now grown to a total of more than 60 employees!
