Klean Kanteen
Flashback to 2002, when reusable stainless steel water bottles were few and far between. Klean Kanteen founder Ryan Seals set out to find an alternative to wasteful single-use plastic bottles. Using local hardware store finds, he pieced together a prototype, and the first Klean Kanteen was born! By 2004, the first Klean Kanteen Classic water bottle was introduced to the market. To get the word out, Kanteens were shared with music festival goers and nature loves across the US. Eco-conscious people fell in love with Klean Kanteen's reusable bottles, and the word spread.
In 2005, the Klean Kanteen torch was passed onto brother-sister team Jeff Cresswell and Michelle Kalberer, who have built upon Seals' original vision by designing a unique and constantly growing line of stainless steel solutions to single-use items, from bottles, to food storage, and more.
