In 1980, a cotton sweater factory was facing a huge problem. Every laundry detergent they used was stretching out their beloved yarn and causing it to change colors. Unable to source anything that would both clean their products and maintain the fabric's integrity, owners Jonathan Propper and his mother, Lenore Propper Schwartz, set to work creating something on their own. With an innovative, sustainable formula, Cot'n Wash came to life! Effective, but gentle on clothing and skin, it became a huge hit.
Years later, the sweaters are gone and Cot'n Wash has transformed from the classic liquid laundry detergent into a small, compact pod, known today as ‘Dropps'! The clean-revolution didn't stop there, though. Dropps recognized that in order to create real environmental change, businesses needed to use their platform to inspire and educate consumers.
Finally, detergent pods that aren't filled with harmful colorants or unnecessary ingredients, only effective, gentle formulas! Clean on, people! And feel good about it, too.
