Discouraged by the lack of diversity among scented soaps at local health stores, Danielle Martin set out to create a sustainable and inventive alternative. While sipping an Old Fashioned, Danielle came up with the idea for unique cocktail-inspired soaps that both smell and feel delightful. Thus began the adventure, starting with scent experimentation out of Danielle's apartment and eventually creating Soap Distillery. From soaps to body oils and salt soaks, Soap Distillery takes care of all your body love needs!
In terms of size, Danielle has managed to keep the company small, but her vision's big! Soap Distillery has a mighty team of soap creators and a plethora of growing skin care inventions. Each soap bar is hand cut and handmade with love for people and the planet. Since its founding in 2012, there is truly nothing they can't do short of incredible! It doesn't hurt that the business is black-owned and eco-centric.
