Phunkshun Wear
Phunkshun Wear was founded in 2011 after Lanny Goldwasser, a snowboard instructor and outdoor enthusiast, noticed a gap in the winter face-protection market. Unable to source a neck tube that was breathable, stylish, and easy on the planet, he set out to make his own.
Born from the belief that a love for winter sports and the need to stay warm and protected from the elements shouldn't come at the cost of the environment, Phunkshun Wear leaves no sustainability box unchecked! Each neck tube utilizes at least 12 plastic water bottles that are collected, recycled, and spun into Repreve right here in the USA. All cutting, sewing, and printing take place at Phunkshun's home base of Denver, Colorado. Plus, as proud members of the mountain sports community, Phunkshun donates a portion of each sale to the High Fives Foundation. High Fives works to support the dreams of current mountain athletes as well as provide support for those who have suffered life-altering injuries in the pursuit of outdoor adventure.
