Marley's Monsters
Marley's Monsters began in 2013 when Sarah Dooley, an interior designer, was pregnant with her first child, Marley. Driven to rediscover her passion for creating, Sarah decided to try her hand at sewing a doll for her soon-to-be daughter. Using fabric scraps that she'd been collecting for years, Sarah pulled out her old sewing machine and got to work on her first stuffed monster. This trial and error process reignited her spark for hands-on creativity, inspiring her to begin creating products for her new baby with sustainability and reusability in mind.
From 2013 to the present, Sarah's business grew alongside her family. Her husband Chad joined the MM team, and they welcomed their second child, Fox. Throughout this growth, they were able to continue designing and redesigning reusable products for the modern family. Handmade in Eugene, OR, Marley's Monsters has blossomed into a thriving, in-house production and retail space where you can shop while they sew and feel the love that goes into each and every product.

Ditch the Disposables
There are so many things to love about Marley's Monsters! They are sustainable, handcrafted in the U.S., a family-run small business, and they create all of their wood and fabric products in-house. By using efficient fabric techniques, they eliminate waste with each cut and upcycle the rest with St. Vincent de Paul Society of Lane County and ENVIA fashion. Some of their products are even made with scraps and cutoffs from their other products! Talk about zero waste!
On top of that, Marley's Monsters utilizes sustainable fabrics like linen and organic cotton. By choosing products that are created with low-impact and pesticide-free textiles, Marley's Monsters offers real solutions to the fight against disposable and toxic products.
Sustainable initiatives are prevalent throughout their production and retail space, too, with their very own unpaper towels and reusable plates peppering the common spaces. Not to mention, every product comes shipped in plastic-free, recyclable and compostable materials. Marley's Monsters is certified as a BRING rethink sustainable business, meaning they implement creative and effective solutions to reduce their environmental footprint. What's next? They hope to earn BRING's true zero waste certification and implement commercial composting!
