Juniperseed Mercantile
Juniperseed Mercantile founder, Tiffany, started her company by selling her handmade products out of a picnic basket. Her organic hand towels, facial rounds and lip balms were all inspired by her inability to find low-priced, environmentally conscious options at her local retail stores. With a strong science background, Tiffany began making her own earth-friendly lotions and soaps. These picnic basket creations became so popular that she named her company Picnic Basket Crafts, selling to neighbors, friends, and family.
It was when Tiffany teamed up with her mom, Joan, that they changed the name to Juniperseed Mercantile. Together, they began crafting a large inventory of products from lotions and soaps to gentle household cleaning supplies. Tiffany and Joan continued the family tradition of earth-friendly living, passed down from Tiffany's Oma (Joan's mother). In 2018, Tiffany decided to hire a staff that would help her to open her first brick and mortar store where all Juniperseed Mercantile products are still made by hand today.
After being on the market for only a couple of years, Juniperseed Mercantile has already achieved what they originally set out to do, create quality self-care products for their customers while making a difference for the environment.
