Happy Earth Apparel is a model of what can and should be done within the apparel industry. Out of extreme dedication to the health of our planet, they've created staple pieces that use sustainable, thoughtfully selected materials, reduce plastic waste, and also give back! Founded on the principle that every item they sell should come with a positive impact, their unique organic cotton clothing is not only better for the planet, but shows that apparel CAN and SHOULD be done ethically and with full supply-chain transparency.
Founded in 2015 by two young scientists, Happy Earth started shortly after one co-founder had graduated from a Master's program in Biomedical Sciences, while the other founder was in the midst of her Ph.D. program in Molecular Biology and Regenerative Medicine. So how did they pivot from science to ethical business? Driven by the lack of environmental awareness, even among the scientific community, Happy Earth founders were determined to increase education around eco-issues, and make environmental activism more accessible. And so, they founded Happy Earth advocating for science and the planet, through unique ethical clothing.
From there, they transformed Happy Earth into a powerful 1% for the Planet company, ensuring that every single item purchased creates a positive environmental change. Happy Earth everything that they do, prioritizes the health of the planet.
