When Melodie Reynolds founded Elate Cosmetics, she knew she wanted to transform the mundane daily makeup routine into something closer to a ritual. Just because something is done every day, or on most days, doesn't mean it can't be special. While many conventional makeup brands cut corners on packaging and ingredients, Melodie chose to create a different product experience, and has been committed to sustainable makeup options ever since. Originally from Canada, Melodie wanted to create a brand that empowered women and created an emphasis on self love, for yourself and the world you live in. Melodie has been known to her customers and colleagues as a fierce, passionate and driven woman with a huge heart. Makeup within our society holds a meaning that is inspired by vanity and expectations, Melodie wanted to change that world view and create an environment that creates joy and integrity. Elate works to empower people to see the true beauty in making healthy choices.
