I tried the Hinoki Wood scent. It is a stronger scent than I expected and stayed strong all day. It seemed to have different layers to the scent: one very perfumy that I didn’t care for; the other, my brain mostly interpreted as body odor. I’ve used natural deodorant for years so I wouldn’t expect the detox noted in the description. I couldn’t stand the smell long enough to see if that was a factor. The third day, I could smell the body odor smell within 10 minutes of putting this on after a shower.
It goes on so nicely. It feels great. No residue on clothes. I stayed reasonably dry. I just couldn’t tolerate the smell. I’m tempted to try a different scent, but this stuff is a bit pricey to be experimenting with. I’m concerned that the other scents will be too strong for me too.

I bought this for my husband who is a fitness instructor & avid outdoorsman. The first thing he said when he opened the jar was "wow this smells awesome" which is a high compliment coming from him! He also said that it holds up through his exercise classes which is no small feat. I love that it doesn't stain his clothes like some other deodorants he's tried. 5 stars!

Keeps me smelling fresh all day. No strong residue on my clothing (like some other natural deodorants). I recommend this deodorant to everyone I can. Apply it liberally and you might want to bring the jar with you for a reapplication if you plan on exercising a bunch. I was slightly worried about having to apply it with my hands, but it doesn’t leave any residue and is incredibly easy to apply. Switched over from aluminum deodorant and found this one to be 90% as effective as the high-power antiperspirant deodorants.

I've tried many natural deodorants and this one is by far my favorite. The smell is really unique and pleasant. This is the first cream deodorant I have ever tried, and it took a little getting used to. It also took a few days for my body to adapt to the formula. I had to reapply more than once the first few days, but since then I have primarily only needed to apply once per day. I like that this deodorant isn't greasy and soaks into the skin. It doesn't rub off onto clothes and stain them, a common trap of many natural deodorants. This is my new favorite and will definitely be re-upping it in the future.
