Hi again, EarthHeroes!
It’s the capstone team here, and we had a blast meeting some of you at our 5th Birthday Party at the EarthHero office last month. Our event featured a welcome from Ryan, our Founder & CEO, an educational waste policy talk from Eco-Cycle (our local non-profit recycling processor and zero waste organization), and ice cream from local favorite Sweet Cow! We loved engaging with EarthHero’s stakeholders and talking more about our progress on the impact report.
After these last few months of preparation, it was wonderful to get so many folks in to show them around the space. Two of our own, Emma and Lily, put on their tour guide hats to take groups through the warehouse, showing our guests the process behind choosing brands, products, orders, and packaging.
Our semester recently started again, and this event gave us the back-to-school kick-off we needed. Preparing our impact report can be overwhelming at times, so it was helpful to reflect and look back on all that we’ve been working on. It was so much fun celebrating EarthHero’s 5th birthday and their new website (be sure to check it out here)!
