Safe and Fair Labor

We support safe and fair labor practices when producing sustainable products. This company cares for their workers by fostering a safe work environment and providing their employees with fair wage.

Charitable

This company donates a portion of their time or profits to charitable efforts in their community or abroad.

Sustainable Lifestyle

This product helps promote a more sustainable lifestyle. Whether it encourages re-use and the movement away from disposable products, or it promotes sustainable actions like recycling and composting, this product can help you lower your environmental footprint.

Recycled PET Fabric

Recycled PET utilizes salvaged post-industrial PET scraps and post-consumer products such as water bottles and other plastic containers. These plastics are dried, crushed, and spun into yarn in order to create recycled PET fabric, or polyester. By providing a use for recycled plastics, companies encourage recycling programs worldwide, while adding new value to discarded items. Currently, over half of virgin PET production goes towards making textiles, so by utilizing recycled PET, post-consumer materials are both diverting waste while taking the place of raw materials. This helps to reduce the demand for the extraction of oil, as well as energy used to produce new synthetic fibers.

You bring reusable grocery bags to the store… but what about your produce bags? Ditch the single-use plastic baggies with a Mesh Reusable Produce Bag from Bagito! Made from 100% food-safe rPET fabric from post-consumer plastics, this durable mesh produce bag is ideal for fruits and veggies thanks to the breathable mesh–but is also great for bulk items like nuts, grains, and more! It comes with handy snaps to clip various bags together, and a secure closure so nothing spills out. Plus, like eRead Morevery Bagito product, a portion of profits go towards the non-profit Power2Sustain–an organization that educates and empowers K-12 students to take environmental action!

Hi Barbara! These bags are great for lettuce storage. The mesh helps with airflow and any trapped moisture. 🙂

    Perfect little bag

    mvinch28 (verified owner)

These bags are great for both produce and bulk grains (I’ve used mine for rolled oats so far). The mesh is very fine and the bag rolls up tightly so I can toss it in my purse. Good quality, completely satisfied!

Hi Nina! These bags (made from recycled plastic!) are made in a family-run factory in Fujian, China. Bagito is a certified B-Corp company, which means they are held to extremely high standards when it comes to sustainability, supply-chain transparency, and safe, ethical working environments. 🙂 We love ’em!
