This bread bag is my favorite. I came back for another. We use it in a bread box, otherwise bread will go stale. I turn it inside out and wash it with our reusable paper towels, dish towels, and cloth napkins and hang dry because it will shrink!

This is the CUTEST bread bag I have ever seen! I haven’t been able to use it yet due to Covid but I can’t wait to!

Hi, Michelle! You can freeze bread in this- for best results, wrap the bread in the bag and then with another cloth to help the bread retain as much moisture as possible 🙂

Question
Christine McCombs –
Was wondering how it keeps the bread from drying out with air getting to it, through the bag?

EarthHero –
Hi Christine! Since these bags are not airtight, they won’t keep your bread from getting stale. They will help slow down the process, though! We find them useful when at a bakery and want to forgo the standard single-use plastic bag that’s offered. 😀

I love buying fresh bread, before this I used a lot of plastic bags (not sure why the place didn’t supply paper bags) so this helped a lot. The aesthetic is adorable and the bag can be used for something in the bulk section if you didn’t bring enough bags!

I make homemade bread often, and I hated putting them in 1-gallon plastic Ziploc bags. This cotton bag is just what I needed. I think the design on the front is really cute, and you could definitely bring it to a bakery and get a fresh loaf without the plastic.
*Update 2/23/20:
I just wanted to add that although I still think this is a great idea, I’ve noticed after using the bag a few times the bread gets stale very quickly. Unless you’re the sort of person who eats bread within a few days, you should probably put it inside a reused plastic bag from a store-bought loaf of bread, then put it inside this bag. I know that kind of defeats the purpose, but otherwise your bread will probably get dry and hard pretty fast, unless you intend to eat the entire loaf relatively quickly.

This bag works so well. I made muffins last weekend and they are still fresh in the bag in my refrigerator. I feel so good using it and saving the Earth one plastic at a time.
