Recently used these for the first time in a shopping trip. The 3 pack is a good size to hold small loose veggies like shallots, onion, brussels, green beans, etc. I’m a single person only cooking for myself so this was a great size for only holding a pound or two. Highly recommend and will buy one more 3 pack as well as the larger size for bigger things like potatoes.

A little disappointed that the sizing was too small. Barely fit any veggies or fruits for a family of 5.

I have a number of reusable produce bags and these one’s are a great. I did accidentally dry a couple of them and the definitely shrank but they still are stretchy enough to hold the produce I use them for so it worked out. I think these will also last a long time. They seem durable and made to last.

Can these be used to store vegetables in the refrigerator? Thanks so much!

Hi there! These mesh bags are excellent for storing certain produce in the fridge. We also love Vejibag because they provide a humid yet breathable environment that keeps produce crisp and fresh for longer!

I expected shrinking due to natural cotton, but after first wash on cold water it shrunk to (rounding up) 7×9. That’s a bit much. Getting a bigger size is needed and perhaps only hand washing.

This is my first set of reusable grocery bags and I love them!
I thought they would be bulky (as they are not marketed as collapsable) however their super soft ply makes themselves extremely drapey and small when balled up. The material is incredibly soft (I thought it would be stiff and coarse) and the drawstrings take up minimal space.
I absolutely LOVE these bags.

I like these produce bags and they are nice for replacing the plastic baggies at the store. They feel nice and I like the mesh and the drawstring. My only complaint is the size; I don’t really think they hold as much produce as it looks like in the picture, but the specifications are on the web site so it’s not really too much of an issue. At any rate I would recommend purchasing if you want to swap out for the plastic bags.

This is a very helpful baggie! I got it to carry produce at the farmer’s market and grocery store but it does work well for laundry too! I’ve purchased more of these already since I loved this one so much! I love that it’s non toxic cotton as well!

I saw these in the non-toxic laundry bundle to use as a delicates bag, but didn’t need the other stuff the bundle came with. I just cinch up the drawstring and tie a slipknot in it to keep it closed through the laundry cycle, and it works great! They’re a little small though (only big enough to hold one bra), so I’ll probably get the larger size next time.

I already had a set of reusable produce bags, but my mom was commenting she wanted to reduce her waste and use them, so I bought her some for her birthday. She loves them. I wish I had bought my set here because these seem much nicer, but I am going to use what I have until they break.

Question

Is the Cotton Mash Reusable Produce Bag 10×12″ really made from GOTS certified organic cotton as it said under Sustainability Features and Product Specifications because on my receipt it only states Cotton Mesh Reusable Produce Bag – Natural? I would not buy this product if only made out of cotton because of how non-organic cotton is farmed. Thanks

Hi there! Great question- yes, the Cotton Mesh Reusable Produce Bag (10×12) is made of GOTS Organic cotton as listed under sustainability features! It also comes in two colors, natural and storm blue. Its name on our site is just ‘cotton mesh reusable produce bag’ which is why it showed up that way on your receipt 🙂 We’re right there with you, unhappy with the way that non-organic cotton is produced! That’s why all cotton on our site is organic- we want to support businesses using these types of materials!

This is a simple reusable produce bag. It is smaller than I expected but it still carries quite a bit of produce and stretches without ripping. It is compact and can be used for various things. Happy with this purchse.

Question
Rebecca –
Does the name tag have the tare weight of the bag on the other side? I have purchased some before that did this – in 3 common tare weights – and it is very helpful. I wondered if these bags did the same thing?

Hi Rebecca! This bag features the tare weight in both oz and grams. 😀

The “Medium Size” and photo was a little misleading as the other reviews say. Also, I washed it which caused shrinking (to be expected with 100% cotton) so now it’s a 9×9. If recommend a large if you’re buying produce for more than one person or bigger items

I actually like the size of this bag, however, I was expecting it to be twice as large from the photo. It was the only thing in my order that didn’t match my expectation. That said, it works well for produce and is the right size for my shopping.

These are great for stashing in your car or bag to bring to the store. Sure they aren’t huge, but I love putting some apples or avocados in them and not buying the silly little plastic bags. I’d love to buy one or two more so I could carry all my fruits and veggies in reusable bags!

I felt from the picture that the veggie bag was going to be much larger. How are you going to go to a Farmer’s Market and fit in no more than a couple of tomatoes plus an ear of corn or two.

Hey Mike! These particle produce bags are small, you’re right! We do carry a larger version, which you can find, here (12 x 15 inches). We like the smaller one for citrus fruits, maybe some bulk nuts, or even as a laundry bag for delicates.
