First off, I didn’t get this mask for me. I got it for my mom who has a hard time wearing masks because of claustrophobia. She starts to have a slight panic attack anytime she has a mask-like thing on her face, so wearing masks for COVID-19 has not been the best for her! We were hoping that since this is hemp, it would be more breathable for her than some other fabrics are. It was more breathable, which is great, and it is super adjustable. The problem is, to get the mask to stay put well, you have to put one of the bands on top of your ears. It can rub a bit and just start to hurt a little after a while. It isn’t horrible, but I imagine if you were wearing this mask all day it could leave a soft spot. That’s the only reason I’m taking a star off. She found it much more breathable, but not the comfiest of masks that she has tried since the pandemic started.
