Every single plastic toothbrush, since production first began in the 1930’s, still exists in a landfill or ocean today (that’s over 4.7 billion brushes!) Shocked? So was the Kumar family, founders of Brush with Bamboo. They decided to take matters into their own hands and create a toothbrush that composts in nature, instead of polluting it!
Their signature toothbrush, made from sustainably grown 100% Certified Organic Wild Moso bamboo, features plant-based bio-bristles from Castor Bean oil and compostable packaging derived from vegetable cellophane. The brush handle is commercially compostable, as is their bamboo straws. Plus all their products are vegan, cruelty-free, BPA-free, and without toxins. How could it get better than that?
The days of your toothbrushes living longer than you do are in the past. With Brush with Bamboo, you are saying no to plastic pollution and yes to sustainable solutions! Together, we can keep our teeth clean and the environment even cleaner by switching over to eco-friendly alternatives like Brush with Bamboo.

This is such a great replacement for traditional plastic toothbrushes. The wood is super smooth, I’ve never had problems with splinters, and I love how they are constantly looking to improve their sustainability with the bristles. The only reason I gave this four stars is because when the toothbrush gets towards the end of its life the bristles will start to get unruly and tangle in each other, but it’s usually just a couple and nothing too concerning or annoying.

I love bamboo toothbrushes, and this one is great! The bristles are a little more stiff than i would like and the brush part is a bit bigger than what I’d prefer but overall it’s not too bad! A great alternative to plastic toothbrushes!

I liked this brush but the “soft” bristles weren’t as soft as Humble Co.

I really like my new bamboo toothbrush. The only complaint I have about it is that the bristles are softer than I am used to, so I worry that I need to brush longer or harder to obtain the same level of clean and get at plaque. I haven’t even noticed much of a wood taste. And I don’t think I’d mind it if I did.

This product makes me happy because not only is it good for the environment, but it works well while also being gentle. Leaves my teeth crazy smooth and shiny. It does taste a bit of wood but I don’t mind it that much.

I like it but my husband says it tastes too strongly of wood to him. I can taste the wood but dont mind it.

The toothbrush itself is wonderful. Super lightweight, soft bristles, very sleek. But it came wrapped in plastic inside the cardboard box which partially defeats the purpose of shopping zero waste and buying a biodegradable toothbrush!
