For me it was just too large. The feel & taste of the wood made me gag when trying to brush my back teeth so if you are sensitive to that this isn’t the brush for you. A kids size may have worked better. Also on my package the bristles are made in Germany & the handle in China, so it was only designed in California not actually made here as advertised in the description.
