Nobody knows the oceans better than a true sailor–and the founders of Albatross Designs are just that. I initially planned on just using some old silverware from my house, but I decided to go with these instead because they are recycled from razor blades. I think it’s very important to not only support sustainable brands/items, but also support brands and items that use recycled materials! The convenient carrying case and the way the silverware nests is another plus. I was worried they would be super flimsy based off of other reviews but I honestly think they’ve got a good weight and feel to them! I think these will have no problem tackling any meals that I would personally be eating. I’ve already used the set twice since purchasing, in situations I wasn’t expecting to need silverware, so these are even more convenient than expected! So excited to continue using.

I love how these utensils nest and they’re the perfect size to store in my snack Stasher bag (along with my collapsible straw). These really feel like quality products and I love that they’re also made of recycled materials. It’s also great that these passed through TSA.
One small note I want to make, I’m not entirely sure why this comes with a drawstring bag. While these need a carrying case, I wouldn’t carry these in a fabric bag, seeing as they may have food residue and/or are wet after use. The bag just seemed unnecessary in my opinion.

This silverware set is super lightweight and I love how they nest together for storage. My husband brings them to work for his lunch and before we bought this, any loose utensils would just get lost in his pack. The carrying case is nice to keep them clean. The only thing is that the metal is pretty thin and bendy, which is how they latch together, but sometimes I wish the silverware was more hefty. Great for what it’s designed for, however.

Absolutely love this set! The way the set slides together is really neat & keeps it well organized. I had been on the fence about really wanting a reusable set of to go silverware but I am not a fan of bamboo & the way it feels. This was a really great compromise so I didn’t have to use plastic or be uncomfortable while using. I am really happy with my purchase & my husband even likes his set too!

One thing that I didn’t know is that this silverware attaches together!! They are much sturdier than bamboo cutlery and is something that will last me for a very long time! I definitely recommend this utensil set, it’s compact and durable.

Love these! They are far more sturdy than bamboo alternatives. I also added my reusable straw to the bag and it fit no problem. I use the Albatross razors and blades, so it is awesome to support the closed loop system.
