With the same award-winning design that landed RADIUS in the Smithsonian, the Soft Left Hand SCUBA Radius Toothbrush puts a fun and functional twist on your daily brushing. The SCUBA is made from flexible recycled rubber, providing more give and grip for the most effective clean yet. The wide oval brush head, featuring durable vegetable-based nylon bristles, has a flexible neck to get into nooks and crannies with ease. Plus, the user-friendly left handed handle complies with the dentist-recommended 45-degree brush-to-tooth angle, with a smart "thumb-and-palm" design for maximum control.
BPA Free
Products that are labeled as BPA free do not contain Bisphenol A, a chemical commonly found in plastic products. Studies on BPA exposure have shown that high levels of BPA could lead to hormone disruption, effects on behavior and brain function, reproductive problems, breast cancer, heart disease, infertility, and more.

Cruelty Free
Cruelty Free is a certification process through PETA that labels products that are not tested on animals. All companies that are included on PETA's cruelty-free list have signed a statement verifying that they don't use ingredients or create finished products that help conduct or pay for any tests on animals.

Leaping Bunny
Cruelty Free International certifies that cosmetic and household products are not tested on animals. These companies are audited to ensure that the ingredients and finished products are not causing harm to animals.

Phthalate Free
Phthalates are found in toys, electronics, personal care products, plastic wraps, containers, and more. These petroleum based chemicals help soften plastics, and bind fragrances to perfumes, deodorants, creams, and other personal care products. Phthalates are are not chemically bound, meaning they can easily get released into the air, water, or your body, just by using the products as intended. Phthalates have been found to disrupt the endocrine system, which can cause reproductive damage, hormonal imbalances, infertility, mood changes, metabolism changes, and more.

RADIUS

At RADIUS, they don't do anything halfway. By taking a holistic approach to designing and manufacturing products, they're able to stay rooted in their commitment to sustainability and a reduced carbon footprint. Before they create a product, they do a 360 degree evaluation, considering the entire life cycle of the product from birth to end of life. This evaluation is just one of the many reasons that RADIUS toothbrushes consistently outlast the competition. By manufacturing locally in the USA, they ensure maximum quality products with less transportation emissions. All products are made small-batch style on low-energy machines, recycling damaged or imperfect toothbrushes, and eliminating waste as much as possible. Instead of using traditional plastic, they employ bioplastics, derived from renewable biomass sources like vegetable oils or used plastic bottles. Not only are these materials better for the environment, but they require less fossil fuels and energy to produce! Click below to learn more about why EarthHero loves RADIUS!

Soft bristles, comfortable in hand

This brush has worked well for me the past few months. I'm not in love with it, but it does the job. I can't quite figure out the angle thing - it says it is angled to brush your teeth at the perfect angle, but that depends how you hold your hand. I'm not quite sure how I'm supposed to be holding my hand. I guess it reminds me to think about how I'm putting pressure on my gums though. Come to think of it maybe I will redorder this, ha.
