I agree with other users that this brush is too rough. I've used others with better results. It doesn't curve to your body, so you only get a narrow section of the bristles actually coming into contact with your skin. And you can't bear down harder for more contact, because the bristles are too stiff. Maybe try the other one Earthhero sells? I'll be using this one to clean the bath tub.

I was nervous about body brush because I was afraid of get scratch my skin when I use it. But I really like it and its actual effect. Especially my hands were very dry so I scrubbed it to got off skin dead. My hands become smooth, no more tight and dull. I am still careful with my sensitive skin.

I had bought this brush to be able to use as a dry brush and bathe with, or as advertised "washing". I have used this brush exactly three times and it has cracked down the middle and bristles are falling out. I would say you could use this as a dry brush and maybe it would work better, but it is far too rough for that. Very disappointed in this purchase as I am now still on the hunt for a low waste body brush and have wasted money on this one.

I love this brush. It feels so good. I use it before I shower and my skin feels smoother.

I bought this because I was getting little red bumps on my arms, and was looking for a solution. This got rid of them in less than a week. Must have been in need of exfoliation! As everyone has said, yes, it's very scratchy. But if you can get past that and build up to it, it works great!
