This was my very first try at bar shampoo and I'm really pleased. Everybody's hair and scalp are different so if you're reading the reviews to see if it's a good product I recommend you give it a try and find out if it works for you.
It lathers great, the smell (while subtle) is nice, I don't have to use much per wash so it lasts a long time, and my hair feels clean but not dried out afterwards. I will be trying the charcoal bar next!

So far I like this product. I think it has a great subtle scent that is not too overpowering like some products. It leaves my hair soft. I will continue to use again in the future.

After a solid 2 weeks of using this shampoo all I got was waxy build up on my hair and a clogged drain. A lot of this is probably due to my water's hardness. I'm aware that I can add an ACV rinse, but I'm looking for a minimal products routine and if that's the case: this product ain't it. I don't doubt that it worked for others.

I think my water's hardness may have something to do with the awful calamity that became my hair and shower drain! I used this for about 2 weeks, hoping my hair would adjust (I've been using the round shampoo bar from Package Free). It didn't, just getting waxier and the residue clogged my shower drain! It's now being used as hand soap.

I have searched for a shampoo bar for a while, and thought this was one of the best ones I've found (besides their other charcoal/rosemary bar, which is now my favorite). I've used this bar for about 6 months, and I am pleased with how my hair is. However, this last time, this specific product was out of stock, and so earth hero sent me charcoal/rosemary by Plum Brilliance. From now on, I will be ordering that one. However, both are amazing: They lather well, leave my hair soft, and I don't have to wash for 2-3 days. With regular shampoo, I used to have to wash every day. This bar lasts about 1 month with my long hair and 3 other short hair users.
