Organic Wool
Organic wool presents less harm than conventional wool production, as both the feed and forage for the sheep must be organic, and no pesticides or insecticides can be used to treat the sheep. Organic wool can be harvested yearly without harming the sheep, and does not involve toxic “sheep dips” where farmers drench the sheep in harmful chemicals. Organically raised sheep are housed in ways that prevent overgrazing, and are not dependent on antibiotics or other drugs, as they live in healthy conditions. Wool is highly absorbent, so it requires little water to dye the finished fabrics. Wool is odor resistant, so you can get away with skipping washes (and saving water!), plus when wool is untreated it’s biodegradable.

I really appreciated the packaging on this one. The balls come in a small cotton drawstring bag which makes it easy to store away some of the balls for future use. I was easily able to string some hemp through one of the balls to turn it into a hanging toy, and while my cat hasn’t gone for these yet, I have hope. The cat’s in a bit of a funk due to a new puppy so I will give him some more time. In the meantime, the puppy loves them! They roll well and seem to be a nice texture for her teething gums. Nice that they come in a pack of six and we can have one in every room. It makes me happy when she reaches for one of these instead of a shoe!

Obviously we can’t predict what our pets will love or be disinterested in. I would say these are worth buying because if you’re pet doesn’t love it, you can give the remaining five untouched ones to a furry friend who might! They bounce around like crazy and definitely help my cat independently burn some energy. Like any small toy, they will get lost, it is what it is! If losing toys is annoying (isn’t that just part of having a pet though?), you can try the regular wool balls for laundry. My cat’s desire to steal those is actually what led me to buy this product 🙂

My dogs love these! I have two small dogs and they love these since they are smaller than tennis balls and smell wooly. They are great for fetch in a small apartment since they bounce less than other balls. My dogs will, however, tear them apart as chew toys if I let them have them too long.

My cat loves these, she’ll pounce on them and flop on her side to play with them. I think she likes that she can sink her claws into them. I love that there are no loose parts she could swallow and that these are soft and eco-friendly!

Cats will be cats and you never know what they will like. I was hoping he would be into this natural toy and other reviewers’ kitties seem to have enjoyed, but mine does not. Maybe a future product will have a tail or a jangle or something else to entice.

Using these as dryer balls AND cat toys. As dryer balls they work amazing to soften, and I dropped some essential oils on them and they leave behind the scent! Cats also love to chase these

I got these instead of those loud plastic ball toys you typically see sold for cheap for cats. I love them, and so do they! They love to bat them around and I love that they’re silent 🙂

I love these! I have been weaning my cats off of cheap plastic toys, that they barely even like, for much more eco friendly options like these!

I have 4 cats and they all enjoy these! They love bouncing them down the stairs. Very happy with this purchase. I also explored the manufacturers website and was pleasantly surprised with the other products they make. I already had their dryer balls and absolutely love them as well!

I got these because my two cats kept stealing my dryer balls and playing with them. They like these even better – they’re small (around golf ball sized?) and fly across the room. The kitten bounces them off everything and slides under the couch after them. They frequently disappear for a few days and then turn up in a totally different room than last seen. If your cats like wool they’ll probably like these.
