We upgraded from a simple cloth leash to this one and this feels overwhelmingly more sturdy. Our pup is energetic and loves to run and pull on his walks! This leash is heavy duty and makes us feel confident that he won’t break away. We do buckle the clasp around itself (connecting the clasp to the leash instead of putting the clasp through the harness hook) for extra security and so that it doesn’t bounce around, as I’d agree that the buckle is pretty heavy compared to the rest of the leash. Over all, we are very happy with this and would recommend! Have had it for 6 months and it’s only showing a bit of wear, which is to be expected.

I love this leash. It is colorful and durable. The rubber keeps it safe from the weather. The handle is easy to use. They last a life time only the clasp gets old with time 5 years. Great product.
