This bamboo turner is perfect for sautéing foods in your non-stick cookware. The bamboo material is heat resistant, and it won't melt or leach chemicals like plastic utensils. It's just as durable as any wooden turner, and you can feel good knowing that bamboo is natural and renewable.
Bamboo
As a member of the grass family, bamboo is one of the fastest growing plants on earth. It requires no irrigation, pesticides or fertilizers to grow, and can be harvested within 3-5 years, as compared to approximately 30+ years for traditional hardwoods. Bamboo is extremely adaptable and produces more oxygen per acre than large tree species, while using a fraction of the water to grow. Its durable and lightweight qualities make bamboo a great alternative for hard wood products!

Very Sturdy

Didn't expect this spoon to be so large, definitely worth the five bucks! I have noticed a little bit of staining after making curry though, but I don't think any type of wooden spoon could avoid that. Very happy with my purchase.
